Australian Open - Betfair outrights

Anyone putting some money down on the outright market at Betfair? Draws should be out tomorrow so if you have a betfair account I think you should have a look at the Pre-Draw lines

Berdych at 100/1 isn't a bad bet at all, dont think he'll win but he's a shot at the quarters with the right draw for an easy cash out.

Good value bets for potential cash outs. However in terms of actual winners, i'd definitely bet Stephens, Bencic (+1600) and Puig if odds are offered.

Unibet have enhanced odds for Djokovic to win aussie open @ 2.20 / +120
I was surprised that I could bet it 50€.. usually these are like 20-30€ max.. Might add more (if possible) if you guys think its worth it..

just to touch on that (haven't been able to look at betting options yet) -- djok has only one "annoyance" in dr. ivo in his path to quarters. it'll be nishi or tsonga in the qf, and fed in the semis. so realistically, the only people who can beat djok are fed in the semi's and possibly wawr (or murray) in the finals. and you might even have a "not djok" at +odds by the semi's... for SURE if fed happens to stumble

fed has to deal with dimi first (which he should.) and then either cilic or berdych prolly. so yea. it definitely looks like fed-djok semis are coming.

if Djokovic looks anything like he did in his CRUSHING of nadal last week he's a cert, been a while since I saw nole play that fluently and convincing, he just has a lot of players numbers at this stage in his career.

honestly, aside from a flukey loss to dr. ivo early, he has cakewalk till semis

He hit the most aces in the US Open 2015 and was third in Wimbledon 15 and US O 14, and fourth at Wimby 14.

and it prolly goes w/out saying, but i'm never telling anyone to tail me. i'd say generally if you were conservative with tails, wait for plays 1.5u or higher, or even 2u or higher. these are my bets. had a great year last year, tennis is my 2nd best betting sport. just sharing my plays, i hope it makes people $.

I've got the ace stats for every slam since RG 2012, the winners are almost all big servers (exceptions being Stan in the two he won, and Kohli Wimby 2012). Novak and Fed have only placed top three once each, Murray twice and Rafa not at all.

im glad for once fed has a harder route to the 1/4 finals and beyond than he normally does. can't see nadal making it that far with his draw. not much i like tbh, I'll probably bet djoko now and trade out after a few rounds after he demolishes his early opponents.
