The Ponz vs Court McGee announced

Ponz likely to be unplayable

Hopefully, he looked good in his last fight but I'd take McGee over him if he's an underdog, especially a big one. I think Court can take Ponz down (he took LaFlare down 4/6 times - Maia was 5/14) and slow him down, avoid the bull rush of the first round or so and take a decision over Ponz. Ponz has big power but McGee can take a shot and is pretty solid on the feet, he's good at controlling the distance, moving around, landing his own shots and avoiding the big shots of his opponents. I think McGee ishas the ability to get out of the way of Ponz strikes, rather than end up a stationary target like Stahl in his last fight where he looked lost on the feet with his back up against the cage for a lot of the flight letting Ponz tee off on him. Likewise I think McGee is smart enough to not engage in a brawl like Larkin did, where it worked out for Larkin but he got clipped a couple of times due to it towards the end but managed to come out on top.

I expect Ponz to spend the fight pressuring, McGee playing matador and Ponz perhaps landing the harder shots while McGee lands more. Likewise when Ponz walks him down I think McGee can get takedowns on him. Unsure if he'll be able to keep him down, but I do think he'll take him down even if he can't keep him down for a long time, but land a few shots and make Ponz expend energy to get back up and break out of the clinch.

McGee also has some decent kicks, both to the body and legs. They could help to slow Ponz down when pressuring McGee, Larkin found some success in throwing leg kicks against Ponz if I remember right.

Should be a good fight but yeah, I'd be all over McGee if he's a big underdog.

1.2k on MM and Rockhold parlay at evens. My biggest bet since i started :)

I have MM in two different parlays for a total of 2k. Got him at -222 and -333 which was a damn steal!
30u for me at -222, my unitsize is pretty small tough compared to most, hoping to turn it into a nice freeroll.

unibet have a line for victory fc tonight: jason jackson (4-2) -303 vs victor moreno (37-22) +200

need to watch some tape if there is any but just from looking at fight fighter moreno +200 looks interesting.. moreno lost a ton of fights ya but pretty much all of them was against vets thats been in ufc at some point.. jackson has not fought in over a year and only has 4 wins against guys with loosing records =/ in amateur fights he went 0-3 getting finished by nonamers in all of them while moreno was 16-1 in his amateur run..

edit: hometown fight too for mereno

He fought on TUF, so its been less than a year.

Jackson is a solid prospect. Maybe shouldn't be this big of a favorite, but he should win for sure.

If anyone wants to watch something hilarious, try finding the 'TUF talk' post show where Cruz rips into Jackson. It was really funny

lol i did not realise jackson is that guy from tuf :D he looked pretty decent on the show so might not be a good bet anyway :)

moreno +185

I kinda blind bet 1u on Moreno just becuase he is a dog. I can confirm bestfightoodds alerts work well if you use them on twitter

yea twitter alerts are working for me. i made a twitter just for them, hehe.

i wanna stab moreno. i do. dude has some pop. just watched his KO of brian houston from last summer (the ufc vet) -- he was composed the whole time. and it was a frontkick KO, not a punch (like sherdog says)

but i can't get over NINETEEN sub losses. jackson looked poor on ground in TUF, but apparently has two triangle ones pre-tuf... blech. pass, i guess

louis santos -705
rafael silva +435

i've never even heard of rafael silva, and apparently the dude has 55 fights

I dunno man Santos seems legit after wiki capping. I aint touching this one.

Jamie Yager -925?? =O. Is his opponent really that bad??

Jamie Yager -925?? =O. Is his opponent really that bad??

just from wikicapping: yes

way undersized, not in great shape, his two wins in his last 6 fights are vs 1-10 and 1-7 guys etc

moises -190
castillo +150

rfa tonight

0.5u castillo +150 tonight on axs.

basically, moises looks legit on the ground. he's the better bjj guy. he's 20 years old (castillo is 33). those are the advantages for him.

moises is waaay more experienced (obviously). he's better on the feet, imo. also, this is short notice for moises. it's in utah, castillo's home town.. it's a 5 round fight, but any close decision in these axs shows.. home town guys.. etc.

lotta checkmarks for castillo. definitely not tail-worthy, but that's my bet.
