Hmmm, I've always interpreted the Mitrione fight differently. He started off landing a couple good shots, but Ben hurt him with a nice flurry which led to Mits dumb takedown attempt.
Rothwell is pretty much the opposite to Overeem imo, he always looks like shit but finds a way to pull out a ace from his sleeve. While Overeem always looks great but finds a way to lose.

I don't think he really hurt him, more like he overwhelmed him there. Mittrione himself stated that he just wanted to switch things up with the takedown so Rothwell would start worrying about it. This is my opinion.

This is another thing I see a lot of people see but I disagree with this too. Hes not a technical marvel in the textbook sense, but the angles he comes at are unique and shot selection is on point. No one would say Barnett has shit standup, and in that second round Rothwell started lighting him up before the choke. His adaptability is nothing to scoff at either, in all of this recent fights he has found an opening rather quickly and jumped all over it.

JDS has never looked good backing up, and at some point in all his fights Rothwell becomes very aggressive, so thats another interesting factor.

I love the chick fight as FOTN at +900. Few quick reasons why:

- Should be an aggressive action packed fight

- Chick fight

- Main card opener

- Every fight after is LHW or HW (4 HW fights!)

that was my first instinct.. main card like you said...

might do it, too

other considerations:

hadzovic-taisumov +575 (i have been saying all week: i think hadzovic is gonna be competitive as hell)

stasiak-pejic +1200 (pejic a high output hometown guy and got a big reception at weighins, close fight on paper, etc)

and actually kinda like two fight pass fights:

whiteford-martins could be a slugfest and it's +1000 ("featured fight pass")

chirico-velickovic +900 - could also be competitive, likely to go the distance, two talented dudes (at least it seems like chirico is talented, we don't really know on him, at least i don't)

I have a ton of Masters match-ups. My favorite tournament of the year. What a final grouping. Added Adam Scott top 5 and top 10 at good odds. Think he'll finish strong based on earlier this year play. Day. McIlroy, Spieth could be an epic 10 years imo. Plus DJ, fowler. Watson

I've got a lot of Field over ___________ plays. I had Mickelson, Stenson, and Spieth making the cut. I'm bound to lose a Field over __________ play unless someone like Matsuyama rises. I'll be watching pretty much all day too.

I'd throw out the Tais and Velickovic fights due to price and being 1st fight, respectively

I think I like the other 2. No bets, tho

yea if tais-had was +800 i'd do it, gonna pass on that and velickoivc ones

i stabbed +800 moroz-stanciu, too, just to win 1u (0.125u) -- thinking about another 0.1u on maybe one of the other two (pejic fight or whiteford fight), hehe

thx, jae

The event props are up

Can anyone confirm big cage?

i like o5.5 +122 and o6.5 +316 decisions, honestly

i know it's euro card, i know a lot of hw's, i know the cage isn't the "big cage"... but it's 13 fights...

i see these fights as being likely decisions:
moroz-stanciu
dalby-cummings
hadzovic-taisumov
velickovic-chirico
stasiak-pejic

medium likelihood:
tybura-johnson
martins-whiteford

so that's 7 of the 13 that i think could very well go 3 rounds. and the other 6 (4 hw fights ,entwistle one, blachowicz one) all COULD, but prolly only get 1, maybe 2 decisions out of the lot)

lol are you serious? We have a midsize cage now? Or has it already been around for some time?

just think i heard that, no source available for this, plz confirm if anyone can

I was honestly leaning over if it was the big cage, and I most likely would have went with the unders if it was the small cage lol... Now we supposedly got this midsize cage in the mix. I don't know what to do at this point, I think am slightly leaning overs

idk what that statement means; dalby might have something to say about that...

how you can you be fully confident in JDS after how gunshy he was last fight and then brutally ko'd?

well, i was in the minority of people who were on overeem in that fight and reem is much more dangerous on the feet than rothwell (still think reem beats rothwell 8/10 times). i think people read too much into records in heavyweight wagering when often a fight is decided in one single instance. reem actually predicted JDS to win this.

yeah JDS looked like total shit but he was against (IMO) the best, most dynamic striker in the division who packs serious knockout power. i don't think he wil be gunshy against a guy who is unathletic and wades forward blocking punches with his face.

i do think rothwell has great durability and great opportunitist submissions, but i think JDS with the superior striking will be the deciding factor here.

i like rothwell but i think he's been finding ways to win rather than dominating, and eventually he's going to come undone. for even money i'll wager tonight is the night.

basically man i think cummings is very underrated and shows constant improvement every time he fights. plus he has a tonne of experience against a guy who is still pretty green. happy to wager on cummings at dog odds.

Don't usually bet these event props but I like

Rob Whiteford/Lucas Martins wins FOTN +1000

and my 2nd guess to the winner to this bonus would be

Rothwell/JDS +375
