Rory is the guy standing in front of me for the title shot, he's ranked higher than me, because of relationship of tristar I didn't want to take it, but it's business, he would have taken the fight as well, he's the best and most well rounded fighter I've faced, karate style is very hard to train for, distance mangement, I learned alot from the Brown loss, I've been training for 5 round fights for a long time with Weidman, with a win they have to give me the title shot

Yeah i'm with you EZ, extremely hard read. At this point i'm just looking for a value play to degen on. WB KO over +200 might be the one for me, but ill be waiting til fight time so well see

I think that's bad value. You might as well take his ML at that price. If the KO prop was +300 is where you should take it. Personally, I'm slightly leaning towards the fight going a bit longer rather than ending quickly. Based off nothing but a feeling though. They're going to need some time to read each other.

I'm healthy, I'm ready, was a little disappointed I didn't get the shot, but I have to prove I deserve the title shot, is Rory going to try to stand, I think he'll try to get me to the mat, Matt Miller and Ryan Hall are playing it neutral, not training with either of us, Rory is different from Hendricks, because he'll change, alot more to worry about, Rory is craftier, he tries stuff and adapts, I have to be on my toes, fighters are nervous fighting me because they don't know what I'll do, spin kicks, angle changes, it's a feel thing, Stipe used great distance management, it's the future, Rory has heart, I have a big advantage standing, he has strong kicks, power, I'll make him swing and miss and make him frustrated, I'm 185, I feel just as strong as 200 but faster, I'm really prepared with my weighcut, Weidman and I are family, my brother and his sister married, I'm glad he didn't take the fight, the wedding was great.

You could be right. I honestly dk what kind of degen value play I wanna make, thats why i'm waiting til fight night. Maybe i'll actually be smart for once, enjoy it as a fan and livebet.

Weight cutting comes from diet, proper nutrition, been with George Lockhart for 5 years

going out for about 2 hours....guarantee the lines come out. happens to me EVERY time

I may sound a little nuts but I think Rory finishes WB in the third or fourth rounds. I think he has the cage cutting skills and experience to not let WB use his kicks (WB is always on the backfoot looking for his kicks). WB may look great in the first round or two but I feel he wont have the gas to sustain that in and out movement over 25 minutes. In past fights, he has slown down after the first round considerably. Rory also has the last fight in his contract coming up, he will be fighting to not only say but for a better contract. What better way to earn that than getting a stunning win over WB who is on a tear. I think WB could of become champion if he fought Lawler but he is facing his worst match up possible right now. Hopefully WB has a great first round so I can LB Rory.

i'm not sure of the last time i've been as unsure on a fight as i am with rory vs wonderboy. it's truly 50/50 for me

To me wonderboy is underrated and Rory is overrated. I've had a buddy of mine chirping about wonderboy for years and here we are.

Rory to me has always been pillow fisted and has been annoyingly referred to as the next Gsp for hype

He lost a round to Maia, I didn't expect that.

His first upset against lawler was eye opening and even though he def had his moments in the second fight at the end of it he was brutally finished.

While wonderboy doesn't have the Robbie terminator look in his eye he is every bit as deadly of a striker maybe even more so but more importantly a much better ring tactician with his footwork.

He's shown constant improvement in his wrestling and even though he's been touched on the chin more than I would have expected by the likes of ellenbirger and Whittaker.... His striking defense has to be considered elite and his chin solid.

At this point I think Maia is the only threat to him in the division.

@Johnbmma1 hey dude I need your help again.. When the odds get released I was wondering if you could let me know if Vegas books will have them available?...

I'm headed out there for an event this weekend but I'm concerned that these late odds might not be released in time for Vegas books to post etc.

Tomorrow for sure is my guess. Kalikas fucking slacking, he had an excuse with the holiday and short timeframe before. No excuses for them taking so long this time

Hes waiting for your posts on Sherdog, Budden.

Rebel you going to be in vegas for 200 too?

When has WB slowed down? Matt Brown yes but that was 4 years ago and Brown brings a crazy pace Rory does not. Im not saying WB wont slow down that is the only way i see Rory winning but people keep citing fights where WB slowed down yet theres only one. WB is also only cutting from 185 this will definitely help his cardio.

Yeah I think sometimes people get too worried over one bad cardio showing ala Aldo vs Hominick. No reason to believe WB doesn't have good cardio.

No problem
Don't bet on them being at Palazzo, they haven't been doing fight night cards as of recent. I will definitely let you know about casino valle verde and can almost guarantee you they will have them. I'll also check with a couple other casino's once the lines drop if possible!

You know it! Lol. I'll be there from Wednesday til Sunday for the entire fight week. Are you goin? Let's rob these casinos man :)

Thanks man hopefully the fucking odds are released today so there aren't any discrepancies for the books not to open them in vegas. My only fear is that they offer odds for the main card and none of the undercards which has happened before especially as you said, for these Fight Nights :(

Yeah be there the 6th to the 11th which is Wed - Sunday.

The week of 194 was insane, i'm ready to kill once again.

If Wonderboy has a "good" first round you might be livebetting Rory's unconscious body LOL.

Wonderboy could tire, it's possible, but I think if he does it will be due to Rory MAKING him tire out. It's not going to be because WB tires himself out with his movement. It will be because Rory manages a way to close distance and make WB fight in the clinch, grind, get back up from takedowns, etc. I don't think Rory can do it because I think WB manages distance (offensively anyway) better than anyone in the sport, but if WB does tire it will be because Rory has a great gameplan and manages to implement it.
