Not impressed with Lee. I swear its like hes gotten worse since he debuted. That fight with Efrain was horrible. If Mustafaev's defensive wrestling can hold up as well as Efrain's, he is going to drop bombs on Lee. Hes been training with Jackson Wink too so confidence increase.

I dont think he has gotten worse, his last performance was his best so far I think.

Re: Pearson/Ray

I don't know if it's because I'm a huge fan of Pearson's striking but I honestly thought he could've won the Brooks fight. I don't care what anyone thinks but it was a very close fight and Ross can still hang with the best of the strikers of this division as long as they're not wrestling with him which is Ross' obviously kryptonite. I felt like he kept up with Trinaldo as well if it weren't for some of the TDs that sealed the round for Trinny. The stand up was competitive and Trinaldo showed Ross the upmost respect for his stand up because he was ultra careful with his footwork rather than the bull rushing style we see him usually use.

I vouched for Ray in his last fight and I honestly think he's a good fighter too but I was really disappointed in how he performed and it kindve knocked a notch down of my opinion on him.

Ross is a true striker I think he can adapt well to Ray's stance. I also believe Ross having fought the likes of Masvidal in a better bracket than Ray gives him the edge. I can definitely repeat the sentiments of a split decision victory for Ross, it'll be 29-28 in his favor if not a UD with the same scorecards.

But again, huge fan of Pearson's striking I only wish I had the same technique.

I was pretty big on JJ/ Will brooks parlay and both fights had me shook.
It was definitely a close fight with Pearson's wrestling defense being better than I expected.

For any other Europeans;

BetVictor has a special - Gegard Mousasi, Ryan Bader and Michael Chandler to win this weekend @2.50 (3/2) (+150.00)

Max bet is £25, I'm all over that.

That fight was weird. When Mathews let go on the feet he was landing nice shots like I expected him to and I expect Mustafaev to, but once the ref got involved its like Mathews head was taken completely out of the game.

I had money on Brooks and I thought Pearson edged it.

Lobov interview

cliff notes:
-Inspired to get the win after Mcgregor
-Says he trained with the best in the world just has to show it now
-Still prefers to look for the ko always
-Teruto is an exciting fighter
-Not interested in win by points but via a ko only

Does not sound like lobov has learned anything other then he is the Russian hammer and is on a never ending mission for only a big KO.

I rewatched Lobov/White (I had money on White decision +450) and I notated that last time it was a southpaw/southpaw match up and what ended up happening was Lobov switched to orthodox the entire fight and tried to 'exploit' the tricks of the trade which demonstrates to me that he's really not very skilled at all. There's a reason why his record is the way it is.

It sucks that Ishi is so undeservingly damn expensive but no one should be making a case for Lobov I think you are a fool. We have a 2 event card and Lobov should not be anywhere near your playlist with a 10 foot pole. It's fucking Artem Lobov!!

^^concur. Last time I bet Lobov and was embaressed. I promised myself not to be on him ever again.

Styles make fights. There will never be anything foolish about hitting a +700 KO line on a guy that hits really hard facing a guy who gets hit by low level talent like Horacio Gutierrez. Even if it doesn't cash, its worth a shot

Anyone know how old Charlie Ward is? Underground says he is 35 but Sherdog and Tapology don't have his age listed.

Edit: UFC has him listed as 35 years old as well.

This!! With the style matchup. Not foolish at all

What style? Who stands like that?

I'd rather throw that money on Nogueira if we're talking about bets above +700. And there are more props to come so you're just being an antsy pants. Be patient.

Better yet I'd throw that on Ishi by decision instead. If he is getting picked off conventional wisdom based on him working @ TAM says he'll wrestle. I'm sure the kid didn't fly out to Sacramento to look like a dummy losing to a 12-12 guy.

You fools. You poor, poor fools.

Didn't you all see what this man did to Chris Avila?

The style of finding people's faces when your opponent isnt back pedalling all fight. If Ishi wants to impress the bitches and decides to get in pocket exchanges with Artem, that might not fair so well for him.

I play every fight cause i'm degen, and Artem KO with Ishi decision is honestly an easy play here imo.

He'll wrestle? Dude did you see his take down attempt, if you can call it that, in his last two fights? Its atrocious. He shoots from a mile away with no setup. He made a good choice with TAM, but it hasn't shown at all yet.

Remember Erosa's record when he fought Lobov? I like his chances by KO. Not the favorite, but definitely worth a shot

Man I thought it was a clear 29-28 for Brooks. MMAdecisions.com largely agrees. Only watched the fight live once though.

I agree. Round 2 was clear Brooks, round 3 was clear Pearson. Round 1 was relatively close but I don't see how you can give it to Ross.

I feel like a point EZ made a few days ago is worth reiterating as well. Lobov's main training partner is Conor. There is unquestionably no one better to spar with for Ishi. Ishi has said he wants to be the Japanese Conor lol so there you go

Good point. Then Lobov will be another meat bag for Ishi to punch? Lol

Guess it's a degen thing. I'm only shaming those who are throwing anymore than the change in your pocket on Artemis.

I'm gonna go the indie route and take Ishi by decision. I'll take the +300 instead of the +700.
