I made pretty much the exact same statement mentally ('Curran will make Moyle look like Damien Maia', my brain sez to itself) so...

Lol at Bands admitting he hasn't followed Ryan Hall much in his BJJ career, proclaiming what Hall's best at in BJJ and what sub he's known for, asking for people to tell him why he's wrong, and then whining when people who have actually followed Hall's BJJ career telling him why he's wrong.

LOL at you, the bum who bets $2 a fight. Still waiting for the proof of me being wrong. Didn't you quit this forum already?

How about from Hall himself:

“From the grappling side of things, at a high level, jiu-jitsu is a positioning sport. You can’t just snatch people up because they’re doing the right things; they have their limbs in the right position. When it comes to the grappling side of things, I’m able to get to the leglock side of things a fair bit, but I feel much more dangerous elsewhere, and if I get the mount or the back against these guys, I think they’re going to be feeling something they’ve never quite experienced in that way before.”

And it's always telling about how stupid someone must be to make a statement without proof, and then acting as though your statement holds water until someone "proves you wrong". The onus is on you to prove why your statement is correct. It's pretty telling when about 10 people are telling you that you are wrong, specifically after you claimed you are fairly ignorant on his BJJ.

The reason I barely post on this forum anymore is because we have discussions like this all of the time. You have more and more posters who are clearly not intelligent enough to have reasoning or understand how a discussion works. I always lol at people who have higher stakes that think that makes them hold clout. There was a poster on here recently who asked why I haven't raised my stakes (which I've answered dozens of times), and later he posts in the heavy about his huge stake and how it was going to change his life since he barely makes shit in money per year. I've been on this forum a long time and started these betting threads, and I will say undoubtedly that it's held true that the ones that bet a lot or look for gambling income as something that matters to them really don't have much earning potential in the real world. Obviously not true for all, but I've definitely noticed that trend over the last 6+ years. I feel sorry for people who gambling is a big part of their life and actually depend on that money.

FML, ok prove it's factually wrong then? Prove he's better at triangles, this conversation is so pointless. Give me undeniable proof or don't reply. I'll happily admit I'm wrong if you do. From what I've seen he's very good at 3 three things, 50/50, triangles and taking the back.

send me a link with hard proof.

Lol. Like that's possible in any tangible way. But I will take Ryan Halls word over yours, and my own two eyes watching his BJJ matches. You have shown your self not to be taken seriously, so at least we got something out of this.

That's not proof and the reason you bet $2 is because you have zero confidence in yourself.

Proof Charlie Z is the greatest boxer of all time

"God Exists. Prove me he doesn't! See you can't, so he exists!"

As Ballsaque said, the main thing this conversation has shown is where your logic is and how you can't be taken seriously. Your argument is the biggest logical fallacy out there. You make a statement, don't provide "proof", and then act as though it is correct unless someone proves you wrong. That isn't how it works, and you'd know this if you had a lick of intelligence.

Lol. Like that's possible in any tangible way
exactly because it's basically subjective. But you said I'm factually wrong, yet you can't prove it. I told you this conversation was pointless. There is strong evidence towards Hall's leglock game being the best and most effective part of his grappling in MMA. Four subs, three via heelhook.

This Hall discussion. Eye v Betch or whatever the fook it was. Some of you should just watch Nascar because all you do is go around in fooking circles...

I have no idea what part of halls game is the best and I dont really care but when it comes to gi jitz the leg attacks are a bit limited because of rules, no heel hooks and no leg reap

I'm not discussing Ryan Hall anymore, I don't care, it's annoying. I'm not wrong and you can't prove I'm wrong so you'll just have to get over it and stop being cry babies. I can't take people that bet $2 a fight seriously.

If you try to discuss Ryan Hall with me I will post a Stitches music video.

Who gives a fuck about if Ryan Hall is better at leg locks or triangles? This discussion is more pointless than anything I've ever posted.

What do you guys think Alexis Davis' favourite sex position is post-pregnancy?

Lol at trying to spin the stats. It's exactly why Hall laughed before the Lobov fight saying people that think his heel hook game is all he can do are clueless. He's had six pro MMA fights and only one heel hook. Lol at trying to make it sound like the bulk of his pro MMA wins have been heel hook. The % of wins by heel hook for Hall in pro MMA is 20% - fact.

Not trying to spin anything, what I said was accurate. You only seem to come and post on these forums to argue with people. Why even bother posting here if all you're going to do is be annoying. I don't see you contributing anything positive.

You're a sad old bum - fact

Look at my first post in this conversation. It points out exactly how the conversation has gone. You claim Ryan Hall's expertise is the leg lock game and that he's known for his leg lock game. You admit to not have followed Ryan Hall's bjj career. You then ask people to "tell you how you are wrong" and say "I am not wrong". People, who have actually followed his bjj career and are more knowledgeable on the grappling game, tell you that you are wrong. They give you exactly what you ask for. You have an e-breakdown saying "prove it!" which is a logical fallacy in itself. You are the one who made the statement that you claim is factual, without actually proving it.

I am doing exactly what you asked - tell you why you are wrong. You just can't handle it and do not understand that you are the one who needs to prove your statement as factual. You were the one who took the stance. We already have Ryan Hall, the person in question, disagreeing with you. He said post TUF that people will think he's just a guy who dives for leg locks and his positional game is where it's at. Guess what happens immediately vs. Artem? He grapplefucks him via positioning. If you weren't just a newb to this forum, you'd see that a lot of people said Artem was a bad matchup for Hall and that Hall would be desperate for leg locks. A few of us played Hall and talked about him being able to win multiple ways once the grappling was initiated, especially via Artem not being able to remove Hall once he established positioning.
