Bellator 170: Tito vs Chael

kato took down schilling in rd 1 of their first fight if i'm not mistaken, but yea, against gracie, make no mistake: he is going to swing for the fences from bell to bell (or until he ko's him or gets tapped)

In that case seems an easy fight to bet. Kato r1 KO or Ralek by sub. Hard to imagine this fight hitting the cards.

pretty darn good card for a non-ufc weekend, actually. we're not without options this week.

Chael didn't have trouble with the size difference when they wrestled. Yes, I know it was almost 20 years ago, but Sonnen is just a much better wrestler and craftier which can overcome size difference. Remember he has fought at 205 lbs before as well.

i have a pretty strong lean on the ward/daley fight, hope the lines are good.

I like Tito too and will bet on him at current odds, but he has much more many recent losses than Sonnen. Do you think that might affect him?

And how about Ralek Gracie? Anybody knows him?

Picking a side in Chael/Tito...nah. Bellator seems to have some weird judging sometimes plus now we have the new criteria that we're trying to figure out.

What I do like is fight goes distance at -165. I think it's like 70% this thing hits the cards. Great value, I'm on it for 2.5u.

Over 2.5 rounds Tito/Chael + Under 1.5 rounds Kato/Gracie, hopefully that pays over +100.

i don't get how anyone could lay -odds on sonnen (or either side, for that matter)

my best advice on this fight: don't go big. if any fight could be sketchy, it's this one.

i think there's a little value on tito due to size, dog odds... tito decision..

but yea. i'm not gonna over-expose myself on this fight.

If Tito gets bet, I'll be on Chael at closer to evens. Think he is the better wrestler, should have better cardio and will push the pace. They are only 2 years aprart, but iircTito has had a lot back/neck problems so he is probably much more shopworn at this point.

I added .7u at +290. Just an amazing price. 1.7u deep on Tito dec now

hit Tito +155 and Tito DEC +260 not confident at all but clearly a dog or pass fight

I'm not paying the price for Chael, but this strikes me as one of those Bellator old man fights where one of the guys just doesn't care anymore, and, especially with him instatapping to the reverse triangle with seconds left in the round in his last fight, there is no doubt in my mind that that guy is gonna be Tito. I think that's why some of the recent money came in on Chael.
