I don't know lol. I think the tap is supposed to be a signal that chael should let go. It's weird sure but it's far from conclusive evidence.

I just thought it would be entertaining to speculate.

ya i just saw the description.. it does look a bit weird i must admit and it would not shock me at all if it was fix after shamrock/kimbo

But its not a sunk in choke so why would he tap? And why would he tap his own glove, Chael probably couldnt feel it? And if it was a fixed fight, why would they use that system that would get caught on tape instead of... talking to each other?

he was looking right at the hand.. according to the guy that posted the video im guessing it was to signal the next move :D i am not saying its true just that it looked weird

Im not a grappler or bjj guy so not expert at all to judge but that first exchange where Sonnen had a few choke attempts looked weird. Can anyone with BJJ xp speak to that?

I dont usually buy into the fix conspiracies ....
