freakin gracie, grrr.

yea, could've done tito ML instead of spread. yea, could've stabbed at tito RD1. but i'm not gonna complain with +1u on a volatile fight like that.

glad i went with daley when all was said and done. that was prolly a spot to go bigger, but again, volatile fight..

gracie-kato was fuckin terrible. i watched it tape delayed and i fast forwarded the 2nd and 3rd round. atrocious shit. btw how the fuck was one judge 30-27 for kato? how does gracie not get the third round lol. i hope no one bet gracie +3.5, cause you got robbed from what i saw.

sanchez win was niiiiice. i had it like 2 of the judges did, 28-27. rd 1 sanchez, rd 2 9-8 sanchez (easily 10-8 if we're being more liberal with 10-8's and i think justified, regardless) -- i didn't take issue w/the point deduction. that was flat-out stupid. and no, i'm not counting a majority decision against my 3-25 split run, cause it's not a split! =P

campos-anderson was fuckin awesome. best fight of the night, no doubt. i was sweating the O1.5 early, but got it done. 29-28 was a good score. i did edge rd 1 for anderson, even w/the flash KD by campos. rd 2 obviously campos and rd 3 was his, too.. i was worried about some shitty rd 3 scoring but all 3 got it right. hell of a fight. campos has become such an entertaining fighter the past couple of years!

excellent result for bellator. just the terrible kato under miss. great call anyone who played the O1.5, i know you were betting on gracie running all fight, and you were right. i ate some crow there.

Talking shit:

If good natured and with a sense of comraderie, we need it here. Threads are stale and boring without it. @Joseph Budden and I talk mad shit to each other. Make fun of each other. But he's good shit and I know he never actually is trying to be an asshole to me. I know he gets into it with others, everyone's personalities are different I guess.

If people are really trying to actually be trolls, piss people off, or be combative just step back and ask yourself "What am I actually gaining from this?" The answer is: nothing.

As an OG here I do have a soft spot for @Oblivian like a lot of other people here do. He started these threads back in the day, and his analysis is usually really good. If he gets out of line he doesn't get a free pass necessarily, but from what I've read it doesn't really seem like he's purposefully going after anyone.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents. Everyone should just take a deep breath, and fucking R-E-L-A-X.

(And now I'm gonna go start drinking because I'm so fucking nervous for the Packer game today).

Ok i was pissed last night so cant remember for sure but did goodfella bet 10 units on chael?

Yea sham, I had like 15 units on Chael and the over 2.5 combined. So I lost my ass there. I don't care what anyone says, that was one of the most fixed fights that I have ever seen. That was some Bob Sapp level work right there. If there was an out right fix in, I don't know exactly what you would call it besides Chael completely giving up. For Tito to be able to slice his guard like butter, mount him and force a tap without even getting under the neck is silly season. So either a fix was in or else Chael simply gave up. No matter how you slice it it is suspicious as hell. For that matter it is equally ridiculous. Chael should be absolutely fucking embarrassed with himself.

If it wasn't like the third or fourth time of a suspicious ending happening in a Bellator Main-Event I would give them the benefit of the doubt, however that isn't the case. I mean, we've had Ken Shamrock with the suspicious WWE style RNC on Kimbo that he couldn't finish before getting knocked out and then his subsequent outing against Royce where he gets starched by one of those vaunted Gracie knees to the dome piece lol Were it not for those aforementioned contests then I would give the benefit of the doubt here, but there is just too many coincidences.

Fortunately I didn't get taken to the cleaners though.. I was fortunate enough to have a couple units only over 1.5 regarding the Kato and Kron fight. Everyone else hated that fight while I absolutely would loved it. Selfish reasons LOL

I also had Brennan Ward though so I ended up down like 8 units or so...

.... I keep telling myself over and over not to bet Bellator but my degenerate ass continues falling in the trap. I'm like the mouse who just watched his cousin get his head chopped off by this spring loaded wooden death trap in search of cheese who then sticks his head in that same trap in hopes of getting that fucking cheese.. To me that wooden spring-loaded platform says Bellator and like the myriad mice before me, I can't stop chasing that elusive God damned cheese LOL . Derp!

I most certainly won't bet main events with veteran fighters anymore. No more Shamrock or Tito wagers here LOL I would still put money on undercard fights like a Rory vs. Daley or something like that. But there's no way I would be even bet a Rampage versus King Mo at this point.

Says the mouse lol

You might wanna re read the thread. If insulting me cause I don't think Tito vs Chael was fixed an PMing me offering me money to fight him irl isn't purposefully trying to start shit, idk what is. He deserves a yellow, but will he get one? Gonna guess no........

Like SBJJ said, he doesn't deserve a free pass cause hes been in this section longer than me. I've been on this fucking forum since 2004, and get yellowed cause I talk backl to people when they're assholes....

Its interesting to see that we've had a few mods in here but no action taken against the guy. <{hfved}>

By far the most aggressive Sanchez yet. This could be another Rick Glenn situation for Kak.

i was thinking the same thing during rd 2.. georgi gets scared to strike some fights and turns into a 100% bjj guy who doesn't look good when getting hit

i don't know what you guys were talking about when reading the pbp recap from everyone on georgi-sanchez.. georgi did absolutely nothing with the clinch, he barely even landed any strikes (in rd 1) -- they were fairly even before that, and then sanchez fully had his back for the last 30 seconds and was SECONDS away from locking in a RNC, that's sanchez's round

then rd 2 was easily 10-8 with more liberal scoring of 10-8's, it was goddamned dominant, period, so 9-8 with the point deduction... and then rd 3 was georgi's for control

i thought it was a clear 28-27 sanchez. legitimately.

Appreciate you, SBJJ, Brown, the dudes with the mma gambler account names lol, and everyone else who spoke up last night about him being the shit starter.

From my experience betting the under when -200 or more, especially 1.5, is rarely is worth the investment.

hey i hit it at -170 :/ and the O1.5 went above +200.. i don't think it was a bad bet.. just blech!

christ, guys. i took a night off from posting and yea, more drama. other people noticed it, fortunately. as far as i'm concerned the two principle parties are equally at fault and equal blame. just keep your cool, guys, what is there to gain from this childish nonsense?

How about we all stop being children, move on, and no one gets dubs?

EZ, seriously, where is the equal blame?

Not only did he CLEARLY star it,I told him to chill and tried to defuse it, and he still goes off and PMs me offering me money to fight him

Literally everyone who was in here knew I was in the right and he was in the wrong.

This biased shit needs to stop.

How about you do your job, stop being biased, and give him yellows for starting shit with me?

how about you stop reacting so poorly to every situation and realize the fact that you're in the middle of so many issues is not a coincidence?

PUO is handling things totally right, imo.

we're not a normal "section", persay, in that the inherent nature of what we do involves money, potentially losing money, etc.. emotions can get high. it's how we handle it, treat each other with respect, etc.

Ooooh so give him infractions but not you for continuing it, yet again? Who is the repeat offender here again?

Like I said, lets drop it and move on. Were trying to be cool here. If you want to keep on bitching we will dish out the infractions, but youre the one thats closer to a ban. So your choice.

man I just don't get all the fix talk, several posters have outright said they think it's fixed, yet no one has offered any evidence or reasons why.

are we really THIS surprised chael freaking sonnen got subbed... let alone by a much bigger dude who has consistently underrated jiu jitsu? while not having fought for 3+ years, and having all this other media/tv shows/podcasts/announcing stuff to do..

i don't think it was fixed, but i think the chances for this fight to have been fixed is larger than most. it's the definition of a volatile fight.. it was when announced, it was before the fight, and yea, it was. chael almost d'arce'd him... i had fun with the fight..

Yeah the fix talk is an overreaction IMO. I dont think it was fixed and im not surprised that Chael got subbed but I am very surprised of how terrible he looked. A guy that had his first pro fight in 97 commits to a half guard guillotine and seemingly not even try to get into full guard neither in the transition or after. Especially stupid considering that the guy he's fightings main strenght is GNP on top.
