Re: Glenn talk

Remember it was short notice up a weight class last time

I'm not betting him at -200 whatsoever here but I wanted to remind people of that.

I fully agree with a few people here

GT -150 is a gift. He's a top five dude still. He finished several GOOD guys before the AJ ko. AJ is the biggest puncher in MMA. It happens.

Cannonier was, in fact, losing to cute labia prior to cute slowing down.

GT has a STRONG double leg and if he gets on top, I think it's a wrap. And he's obviously still dangerous on the feet to boot.

Yall think Nover's odds get better? +175 is so damn enticing. His performance against Barao impressed the fuck outta me.

I think it gets worse. Usually I don't make bets until I see the weigh ins but I may take a small stab on Nover at +175 now because i think it gets worse. Now starting to breakdown tape and info and I am surprised to see the Nover has 2 inches reach advantage on Glenn. I thought Glenn would have the reach advantage but I guess not.

Whoa, had not seen that.....short notice as well right?

For what it's worth it looks like Brooks has been wanting this fight since 2013 according to his old Facebook posts.

I'm not sure if the line will see any substantial movement, but I can't see it getting much better, if at all. I played him at +175. Personally I think it'll be a split-decision kind of fight myself, so I like him at this price. Nover gets shit on a lot, but he has the skill to keep it really close, IMO.

Agreed, are any props out yet for this fight on US books? Looking at GT submission or ITD.

holy shit dustin's line getting smashed...but I don't blame them for betting. I just wouldnt bet too juiced poirier.

What are the chances LaFlare fucking this up? Carnero looked TERRIBLE imo vs Kenny. Carnero is a dec/sub machine so ko'ing ryan is very unlikely. I think Ryan's TDD holds up also.LaFlare should beat him easily......

Yep, I'd say that his line wouldn't even look out of place at -300. Seems like it should be a straight-forward takedown to rear-naked/arm-triangle kinda fight to me. Cannonier is a big due who packs a lot of power, but nothing in Glover's history, including the Rumble KO, indicate that he can no longer deal with this type of fighter. Glover should make quick work of him here.

Seems like a beautiful style matchup for LaFlare to me, but I'm definitely not crazy about his price-tag.

good addition to parlays imo. seems like very winnable fight for him. Why la flare hasnt fought over a year?

While I definitely favor Dustin, I can't imagine betting him at this price against an always game Jim Miller. At the same time though, even at decent plus money here a bet on Miller isn't exactly screaming my name. Probably a pass altogether for me unless there's significant movement.

It looked to me like he is really worried about his gas tank. He went back up to MW cos of the cut so i can't imagine the cut being any easier at 38 years of age at WW. He also slowed down and the Robertson fight was a slow paced fight. LaFlare looked really solid against Pierce and brings a high pace. He has good striking, nice takedowns but he can get taken down off his kicks, albeit that looked improved against Pierce. I only see Carneiro winning if he catches a leg and sinks a choke and I really don't think that's going to happen.

Also take into account he's the home fighter and could get some sway from judges.....maybe.....hopefully....

People always says this but does it ever happen outside of say Brazil? Has anyone got any examples (Texas doesn't count)? I'm sure this tends to mean nothing.

Regarding some of the talk

This new little dude seems awesome. Just for talking shit, haven't watched his fights yet. Plus hes a Murican wrassler, this might be my new fave fighter.

I'm opting to just parlay o2.5, but Nover definitely seems to hold some value right now. Glenn is too juiced in what should be a competitive fight.

I love Cannonier but for sure Glover seems like the right play, at least at the moment. Expecting money to come in on him for sure.

Laflare should dominate Roan, especially if he doesn't play around on the ground and just keeps it standing
