If nothing else it speaks to the level of competetion he has faced and was preparing for. This is a big step up for him. To say it is irrelevant is pretty shortsighted, imo.

Sure if you want to fade him as he is green and making his UFC debut no problem.

The fact that the guy he was gonna fight has a bad record just isn't a reason to fade him. If anything I am just glad that he had a camp instead of being on short notice without a camp.

To me I just see 2 mediocre heavy weight and I am happy to take the hungry prospect as a slight dog.

For me HW fighting is so much about confidence/momentum. Spitz is going to be brimming with confidence as he is undefeated and getting his shot at the UFC. Godbeer is kinda struggling with the level of competition he has faced. Again, this is not an assessment of skill but strictly their confidence levels/momentum.

Damn, I forgot Ferg-RDA was 48-47. I remember thinking Ferg sorta beat him up. I had a bet on RDA and I was totally convinced I had lost. That was some weird scoring.

Round 3 was given to RDA but Ferg outlanded him by a decent margin in the round. RDA had some success towards the end of the round so that could have swayed the judging. I thought the same thing you did

Well there wasn't really any chance RDA would get the nod. I don't think there was a conceivable way to give him a 48-47. I think you can argue it's strange that it was unanimously a 48-47 rather than a 49-46 in there, but 48-47 was how many scored it live.

Meh, Ill take the more skilled guy who has fought better competition than a guy brimming with confidence from beating a bunch of cans. Not putting much on him tho because as you said, he is definitely mediocre.

If Rashad loses, its time to retire. Losing to Kelly is a joke for a great such as Shad.

@Joseph Budden both of us have until the bell rings to back away for whatever reason (weigh ins, interview red flags, etc etc). same conditions that i presented to MMAGF

Yes if you make the right choice and realize Rashad is likely a shell of his prime I will allow you to back out <{silvanormal}>

So is it just a straight sig bet between Budden/iGNP. That's not really fair with the odds. If Kelly loses, iGNP should have to rob a bank and then fight someone to the death for the money while a drone films.
