because people are making a big deal about it?
You're going down a rabbit hole by asking for previous examples. 99% of the thread agrees that there was some funny business going on there. Don't know why we have to delve into this more deeply seeing as it has zero implications to tonight's fight

I'm with @SBJJ, clear as fucking day he had pressure on the towel.

Anybody who doesn't have money on DC can see it lol

ive already said that i believed that dcs hands resting on the towel is what caused the change in weight

i just think think its funny that so many people are convinced that this was the case yet no one can provide one single instance where this has occured.

my beef is with the espn akomoto guy claiming that this as an old trick yet did not reference a single occurence

horrible for a journalist/reporter to not be objective and to what appears that there is no credible source to back up his claim

Also the Cormier rounds... Maybe 10 days ago I posted that I took Cormier rd 3 4 and 5 at +875 +1275 +1875 respectively. Nobody paid much attention to it... one guy even said "wait till closer to the fight those lines will get better".

Well now they are +650 +675 and +1550. I would not take any of those current lines (maybe a tiny flyer on rd 5). But I love the lines I got.

that was me. as mentioned they are currently:

rnd 3 @13
rnd 4 @17
rnd 5 @23

at like at least 4 euro books, and a US one too. heck even some the worse odds available right now are better than the ones you took . and i don't think they would of changed much if at all since the wider scale release.

it represents an incredible difference between the ones you took. especially considering rumble at the time I posted that originally, was shortening across the books from 2.2 ish to where he is now as favorite down to 1.8/1.9 ish. it stands to reason that when a ML is shortening the props will also. but not even solely due to rumble's shortening odds, the wider scale release of props often brings out better lines from other books. it pays to shop around when betting. other than bankroll management finding the best odds makes one of the biggest differences to ppl's results.

tldr: I think you need a new bookie!

And a Luca Fury tout calling anyone else a jack off is priceless

lol I'm not going to put this thread through an argument but I don't work for Luca (should tell you something) and how am I a Luca tout? Where have I tried to sell plays ITT comparedv to all the breakdowns on I have made? Please show me. Please show me the touts who come and do copious BD's ITT.

Bro, this is not some grand experiment that we need controls and variables for

Goodfella, do you own a scale? if not the next time you are near one weigh yourself, then weigh yourself again with your hands touching something like a wall, towel, towel rack, sink it doesnt matter. With or without forearm flexing force you will change the weight on the scale.

I'll check it out. That easy huh? That is crazy lol

Why don't you tweet Okamoto and ask him for specific examples. Corey Anderson, Phil Baroni, and Darren Stewart referred to it as the "oldest trick in the book" or implied it through tweets as well.

thanks, i did not know that.

not up to date with what's been going on with all this lucy fury stuff. but I will say:

The man is a scammer. A liar, and he can go fuck himself.

Probably a new rule coming out soon that if someone gets the towel treatment they must raise both hands above at least the top of the towel or higher with no touching to avoid this altering of the scale through simple physics.
This is how rules/laws have been changed for hundreds of years in sports and society----somebody takes advan./loophold and its corrected. No big deal, but a rule change is coming unless the UFC brass has an ave. IQ of the likes of Rampage Jackson.

I'm gonna miss you dude.

Guys..I'm not the camp leader but can we drop towelgate lol

There are so much better things to do with our time than discuss towel physics.

Like take a shit on your neighbors doorstep or jerk off in your father in laws cap. FFS At this point I would rather listen to Justin Bieber perform Nickelback songs then discuss tail gate anymore.
