UFC 210 PBP/Discussion

I disagree.
If you do things like Rumble did you embarass your coaches name and camp. I think they had every right to leave.

That's just not how it works though bro. Sure, AJ completely fought the wrong fight. He completely ignored the corners advice. But regardless, you don't leave YOUR guy holding his dick when they know he's already at his LOWEST point. In from of MILLIONS of people. You get in there with your guy, and then confront him behind the curtains.

Yea, Rumble didn't follow the GP coming in, HOWEVER, if he happened to get that TD and elbow DC to sleep or else slice him open and get a stoppage, you still think they are in absentia? You think that they're hard to find if AJ deviates from the GP but somehow wins? FUUUUUCK NO!!

If Rumble wins where are they? I'll tell you where. They're in that cage smilin' and gigglin' like school girls acting like everything is all good. They're in there trying to get some of that championship rub on them. In there posing with AJ putting their index fingers in the air as they try and soak up as much as that blue ribbon perfume as is possible via osmosis.

Their prize thoroughbred ran the wrong race and now that he has been put out to stud they're not there anymore feeding him apples and petting him like he's the reincarnation of their great grandfather. Nope. Now they could care less if that royal stud gets euthanized on the track right then and there.

Yea, and Rogan screaming like a mad man AT fucking Dan that "WTF it's LEGAL bro!" Like a hundred times "It's legal!"

Dude needs to lay off the fucking Alpha Brain man.

At first i thought id do the same as hooft but you make valid points. Henry prob spent hrs with this dumbass tho only to see him execute the worst gameplan ive ever seen and just quit.

Due to the controversial nature of the fight and the illegal decision to award Gegard with the win I will not be going through with the money back offer. I am not reneging nor welching on this offer because I would have no problem if the ending wasn't shady. There is going to be an investigation and I fully expect the fight to be graded as a NO CONTEST after review.

Barring the retarded ending nonsense Weidman was winning the fight and the knee by Gegard was LEGAL. Everything after that instantly caused my offer to be recscinded. No shenanigans and the Moose wins the fight fair and square I pay the $250. No chance in hell I'm paying for getting literally screwed. THE FIGHT SHOULD HAVE F*&^&&*(&*(&**(& continued PERIOD END OF STORY!!!!!!

Man I was busting balls. I wouldn't ask for it regardless. Well, perhaps I'd donate it to Charity.

BTW: Did I mention that Charity's the name of the pretty stripper I see dance at the club on "Freaky Fridays" every weekend?
<Gordonhat>

Alternatively I'd donate it to the NYSAC section that's in charge of educating the refs / judges / and commission itself on better officiating and regulation / oversight.

One of my best events in terms of ROI. There were some crazy lines for that event. Oliveira line was such a no brainer. Cormier/DC ITD was a lock to put in a ton of parlays. Not Gregor Dec at +114 was ridiculous. Emmett/Green over was an easy play as Green doesn't finish much and is pretty damn good at avoiding damage.

Not too bad a night. Despite my 3u play in Weidman ending badly, ML + LB on Cormier after R1 brought it back. Up 4u from this event, but down 1-2 units total for the week on some poor rugby picks. Def feel I need to play more on MMA and less on other sports, but my thirst is real.

Oh, and I got screwed by the weird Liam Williams stoppage in the boxing, so hoping my bullshit calls quota for the month has been fulfilled.

Responsabilty for what? The knee was legal. Fingers do not count. Fists and palms does. Check the rules.

Weidman was like 2 minutes sitting in the floor grabbing his head and saying he needed time to recover. That is like a finished guy looks. He was done for legal strikes.

He would have been finished right before the whole shit happened. He was hurt, gassed and looking for a way out.

Miragliotta told him he has 5 minutes. He was doing nothing wrong.

And it was illegal.

Lets all just LOL one more time this morning at the fact Rumble couldn't have fought more retarded, yet was the fave still after round 1. Best lb line ever. Should've threw my account on DC

So it's illegal right? What's the rules on this? Legal in some states and illegal any others?

The new MMA rules are so convoluted FFS. I mean, they're like abortion and fireworks now. It depends what state you're in regarding the rules. Ridiculous. Confusing to fans, fighters, refs, commentators and judges,

I hate losing money but I feel even worse for Weidman. I mean, you completely neglect your friends and family for months, wake up at 5:00 A.M. EVERY morning to run 6 miles while Dan's getting a fucking spray tan. You bleed, sweat and cry in the gym in preparation for the most important fight of your career. While Tan Dan drinks Muscle Milk laden with Bob Sapp circa 2002 strength supplements. You eat clean and work hard while Tan Dan and lifts free weights in front of the local Golds Gym parking lot before heading to flex for 19-year-old trim on Muscle Beach. Then it happens. After all the aforementioned work you put in, that same meathead erases it all in 5 minutes.

Essentially in one stroke dismantling everything you did to prepare yourself for this one night and those singular uber-important 15 minutes. With a single take and he cost you potentially 6 figures and ostensibly altered your career trajectory irrevocably...All because he didn't follow or understand the rules himself.

BTW : What Dan did you can't call it an accident either. An accident as being out of position and thinking the hands-down. The accident was separating them momentarily because you screwed up. However, it stops being "an accident" when you give the fighter over three minutes to get his bearings back and tell him to take his time before ultimately telling him that the fight is over and he lost. What's more, all the while having a walking conversation with Herb Dean, Joe Rogan, the commission and the ringside doctors. A conversation which only adds to confuse him to an even greater degree.

This is the same guy who has been in countless screwup's... Remember he was the ref in this debacle...

Damn I fell asleep right before the Mousasi/Weidman fight... was up over 28u then so would've fucking smashed DC at thouse odds after seeing the dumbest fucking gameplan ever being displayed by rumble..
Went +20.5u so good night overall, cummins comeback was a blessing from above. Now for selfish reasons I really hope they wont rule mousasi/weidman a no contest, doubled up on mousasi after alves win and made him my biggest single bet as of yet at 10u. In the last 14 events I've only lost one night, if this keeps up I'll start sounding like luca fury

Well I got slaughtered last night. Ends a run of positive events, but the loss tonight was pretty huge.

THE REF STOPPED THE FIGHT AND CALLED IT ILLEGAL, WEIDMAN DID NOT FALL ON HIS BACK OR GO OUT COLD BECAUSE OF IT!

There is no difference between this or a low blow in boxing or MMA that is ruled a low blow but is not actually a low blow. The fight wouldn't be stopped there nor should it have been here.

If I get kneed in the face, punched or kicked in the dick and I'm told I have 5 minutes I'm going to take the time that I need to feel better. You're a liar or you've never done contact sports and had this happen to you if you say otherwise.

That wouldn't affect the betting outcome

i live bet weidman at +money before he was kneed and right after he was cut. imo, you cant use some rule in combat sports in the hopes of the ref acknowledging and seeing your intent while putting yourself in harms way. first and foremost, you must protect yourself at all times.

if the ref is directly in front of the fighters then its a good calculated risk to attempt what chris did in hopes that he wont get kneed and also that if he was kneed then a ref would disqualify.

weidman did not know where miragliotta was when he put his hands on the mat and took the risk that he would not get kneed.

bad fight iq taking on such a presumption when he knew the consequences
