True, but Maia looked shot after 3. Woodley has been 5 a few times. Obviously I'm a degen, and if Maia was +300 I would look at it, but if Woodley was even remotely attractive odds, I would quite literally carve my kidney out and bet it on him.

I was on Maia tonight, but I really didn't understand the argument of "Maia is bigger". I didn't think that'd be a big factor in this fight with his grappling, and I think that held true. What matters is if Maia can make it a grappling affair. Distance control is the biggest aspect to beat Maia at this point. I'm just not seeing that with Woodley. It's not that he's not light on the feet, but what offense does he get off besides throwing a big punch?

Woodley literally sat on the outside against Lawler and then pounced/flatlined him. His distance control is excellent. Also remember he has fought Wonderboy, Lawler and MacDonald, who are much better strikers than Maia. I just think its an awful matchup for Maia.
