I have no idea why you guys are playing 41 year old Kongo at -300. I'm loving Sakai at the current price. He has damn good TDD, about as good of get-ups as you can have for a guy who cuts to 265, and he's an intelligent (albeit low volume) striker. I could easily see Kongo gassing from going for TDs and Sakai piecing him up. If he learned anything from his last fight this is an amazing price.

This is a big step up for sakai and his tdd is not great complete bums have taken him down. Yeah hes gotten up but kongo is a different level to those guys. He was basically kod end of r3 against huddleston sakai is baaaddd. But its bellator so i wont go big on kong.
 
Just made a parlay on Kongo, McGeary and MacDonald. Hope it works out.

Money doesn't come more easy than Rory and Kongo.
 
I'm gonna donk some $ off on Daley and maybe even some on u1.5 kongo.. even tho I expect both to lose.. price dictates play...

Mcgeary just has such crap tdd. I think he gets put on his back early and often. I expect some weird sub attempts and arrange positioning.

I'm always worried about Vassell sub par standup & he can definitely slow down in fights, but I think he can take two rounds here. Might do a little more
 
Ps Kongo being 41 comments it doesn't matter. He's a genetic freak he is probably in better shape than most 30 year old hw's.

Yes, but Sakai's striking defense is overall pretty damn good, and at his age he can be expected to improve fight-by-fight. This is a heavyweight fight where the guy who has the better chance of finishing a 2.5 to 1 dog. Kongo is a pure lay and prayer these days, and his top control leaves a lot to be desired. He hasn't faced anyone with this level of get-up. Fighters, especially old ones, get very dejected when people get back up on them. Sakai's style is not susceptible to knees, which is Kongo's main way of hurting people at this point.

There are a lot of reasons to not pay -300. So much so that I'm on the other side for 2u.
 
Why are you guys playing Kongo instead of the better O1.5-line? Do you really think Kongo will get a first round finish?

How can you say his striking defence is good when he's fought absolute bums, and like i say Huddleston basically KO'd him at the end of r3. Same with his get ups. Getting up against the Rob Horton's of this world is completely different to getting up against someone like Kongo. I'd be very surprised if he finished Kongo he has low volume and pretty much spams kicks. Kongo's top control was pretty damn good against Oli, Johnson and Volkov - all three far more proven than Sakai.

I'm not saying this is a lock or anything but I got Kongo @ -200 and i'm on him pretty small, but i think you are overrating Sakai based on his not impressive performances against low level comp. If anything im considering adding more to Rory + the over in this fight.

Pretty much where I expected him to be at from the jump so 8/15 I got him for is nicccce
Just need to avoid the hooks flying knees etc now ;)
 
Rory McDonald by decision is +120 / 2.20 on paddy power still.

Has dropped to 1.80 / -1.25 on most other books
 
Hitting Vassell for .75U. This will be a fight where Liam doesn't have his typical size+reach advantage by a huge margin. Vassell is a solid grappler & I don't think Liam subs him from his back. Also I have to fade Kongo here.
