Although Gomi might be cooked the o/u at 1.5 and +135 I feel is pretty aggressive

No might be my friend, Gomi is cooked. Hasn't lasted more than 2:37 last three fights and Tuck looked a weight class bigger at weigh-ins. Tuck is a first round fighter as well, usually comes out guns blazing looking for an early finish (7/8 finishes in the 1st). If he doesn't get it he gasses and losses against guys he shouldn't (Damien Brown), but I think he finds it here. It's an aggressive line no doubt, but I think it is warranted.

I see Tuck either rocking him in the pocket and following him to the mat, or taking him down early. Once it hits the mat Gomi rides off into retirement with another quick paycheck.

For the Americans that are going to make the sacrifice to wake up midnight to watch just have this as a little motivation: this dedication separates true fans from casuals. Let's have a great fight and let's make that money.

Yeah but look at the guys that have finished Gomi vs the guys that Tuck has actually finished...

Sasaki moved to NYC a few months back. Has been training there and in New Jersey at Team Carnicella.
Thanks for the info. That negates the travel part of my comments, but coming to the U.S. to improve his skills is on the positive side.

No I agree, I just really think Gomi is that shot and Tuck while fresh is very dangerous. He has power and has slick grappling. That paired with Gomi looking soft and his tdd fading as fast as his speed is a bad combo.

People have been whispering stuff ever since he broke Pettis' eye socket in 2015.

Yeah, I didn't really get that either, it's just links to a bunch of random forum users speculating about it...

Not to mention a lot of posters in that Reddit thread even said they thought he looked the same.

And judging by the most recent weigh-in, he looks as in good a shape as ever. I guess that kinda ties in with that my post about Pudilova about how different photo's can make us look. The lighting was very scattered in that RDA beach photo, you're not going to have cast shadows that underline muscle definition, it makes a huge difference.

Do these opinions hold more weight than random forum posts?

Fact is RDA's last win was in Dec 2015 and prior to this he was on a 5 fight win streak... hmmm.

I believe that he should win this fight but if he loses it's further confirmation that POST_USADA_RDA is a different animal.

Holm Bethe O2.5 @1.56 is a really good line. I think Bethe might cause more problems than people give her credit for and she is still really tough, and which UFC fighter has Holm ever finished except Ronda?

I now have 3.5U on this fight which is bigger than I wanted, and they are all different kind of overs.

So I did a few bets. 275 on holm ml to win 50

50 on her ud line to win 110

Probably going to hit her ko or itd line if it gets better

Super dooper parlays with dong ml and dec, saff ml and dec, tuck ml and ko, tybura ml and ko, holm ml, itd and ud

Very small lotto bets to win big

Dong and saff are definitely very playable at these odds

I thought RDA was definitely on gear against Pettis, but he looked the same against Alvarez and Ferg imo, so no reason for me to think he was or wasn't, and if he was, it didn't have a huge effect on his performances thus far.

Damn...just watched WIs and not sure what looked worse:
Gomi's hair or Gomi's physique lol

I'll go with options C.
Betche's reflexive "I'm the baddest Betche in this bubble"' signature staredown. You know! The one where her figure contorts in this awkward position causing her tendons to pull taut and arch her spinal column backwards as her head simultaneously protrudes forward so she can get in her opponents personal space. All this while her eyes become glazed over with a "knock-knock is anybody home" countenance. Cringeworthy as it is Betche remains poised. Completely dedicated to making us squirm while her bizarre pose is frozen like she's having an absent seizure. Of course it's all muscle memory for her ATP as she wins the first battle of psychological warfare. When you are as unathletic as Betche you do what you must.

You're damn right option C is worse than the emo colored hair and the Tuesday lunch hour stripper physique that Gomi was sporting!

How many of you degenerate east coasters are waking up for 4:30 am???

Well it's 8 am, I'm about to have my first cup of coffee and pet my fluffy cats. This will be an amazing day.

Would just like to present a counterpoint about the Sasaki/Scoggins bout, Goodfella: I like a small play on Ulka Sasaki at +435 against Justin Scoggins for four reasons.

1- Scoggins just dropped back down in weight to flyweight, which is always a concern.
2- Scoggins has been submitted twice recently in fights that he was supposed to win and Sasaki is a crafty submission artist.
3- Sasaki is tall and big for flyweight.
4- Scoggins traveled far to fight in Singapore while Sasaki lives relatively close by in Japan.

Sasaki's submission line is also tempting at +435 and even his decision line at +1325

has value in my opinion.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a rebuttal. However, there are problems with this. Specifically, Scoggins has excellent wrestling and TDD. There's no way that Ulka will be able to take him down and I find it highly unlikely he that he catches Scoggins in his guard. Justin would have two absolutely hand him a submission on a silver platter to get tapped. Of course that's not outta the questions given Scoggins history. LOL

However, he's just 25 years old. Was 22-24 during those losses. There were bound to be growing pains.... Hell, Rich Clementi choked out Rumble and Cruz was guillotined by Faber and Faber was flatlined by a Tyson Griffin right hook etc..... lol Lots of young prodigy's find ways to lose. For Christ sakes, Anderson Silva was dominated and submitted by to Takase and then Chonan heel hooked him! And he is the GOAT !

These two fighters are in entirely different leagues when it comes to speed, athleticism, technical striking, grappling and overall game. Just look how Scoggins completely dismantled a very very good Ray Borg Completely shut him down from pillar to post. It was also eating Pedro up until his fuck up. Anything can happen, but I believe Scoggins runs roughshod over the Japanese fighter making a big statement in the process.

It will be indeed. Couple of hours to go.

@Shoulder Who are you on?

My bets placed are:

$1k Holm UD 2.5
$1k Holm ITD 2.5

$100 Yeon Kim 2.2
$50 DYK DEC 5.75
$50 Tarec DEC 4.5

Going to make more depending on how well i start. I'm sure there will be a few upsets on the card but surely my Holm bets are dare i say a LOCK
