True story

I had a dream a while back that Pac lost to a big underdog. This was before this fight was anounced

Pac Dec at -102 the play for next weekend?

im going to wait until the second or third round to buy that in the hopes that paq gets an early kd. horn was hurt by bailey and a fresh paq is still very dangerous. jeff dec will also be a good play if he is kd early

paq only threw a pathetic 409 total punches against vargas whereas he threw 1069 against margo.

Hasn't Horn been dropped in his last 2 fights (certainly was in his last fight; might be remembering wrong prior). Pac KO. This is levels above what Horn has done, not even the same stratosphere. (Hope Horn wins as an Aussie though)

he was hurt against randall bailey but the punch was behind the ear

You think the odds for mcgregor will increase or decrease as we get closer to Aug. 26? I think small bets for Conor in rounds 1-5 and win by KO, TKO, DQ sounds like a good set of bets. I dont know shit about odds betting btw.

Think they get better closer to fight night but I hope not. I hope the "Irish crowd" puts Conor at EVEN jk.

Solid breakdown of the fight, makes some legit points regarding McGregor's chances and paths to victory.

I like how he talks for a bit about how Bernie was raising a ton of tiny donations (while Hillary was raising fewer larger donations) as support for his central thesis without acknowledging that Bernie lost in the primaries.

GGG in a recent radio interview admitting age is his biggest problem heading into the Canelo fight and that he himself thinks it's a 50/50 fight. I can't help but read that as doubt. He's basically telling us to bet Canelo if it's a 50/50 fight and Canelo odds are +150. https://www.badlefthook.com/2017/6/27/15880048/golovkin-age-is-biggest-problem-in-canelo-fight

On his biggest problem heading into the Canelo fight:

“Probably age. You know, I think so because right now just, I have experience in middleweight division, he a little bit younger. And both, we’re hungry. And both we understand situation. Who wins I think is pound-for-pound, you know, best in the world...I think [it’s a 50-50 fight].”

im all in here with what i believe is going to be a shutout after the frist two rounds when canelo realizes that he is not a 160, has no answer for golovkins jab which is going to open up the uppercut and overhand right followed by gennadys left hook

this is going to be the biggest bet i have ever made on the ml as well as ko

Surprised you feel so strongly the opposite way. I was actually considering making a big bet on Canelo as an underdog. GGG is taller in the face-off photos I saw but I don't think he's that much bigger than Canelo overall.

I've been betting Canelo .25U every event I profited from. I think GGG is gonna have trouble getting Canelo out of there early and Canelo can back him up. Pure boxing I think GGG is better.
Likely gonna be big on him by fight night. Just don't want to hold up too much money but I want +odds. I feel odds are gonna tighten and maybe flip by fight night. I may be wrong though.

canelo could win by way of decision. thats why im making a big bet on the ko prop as well because golovkin is going to go for the ko until the final bell in case of the robbery

im pretty positive that golovkin can hurt canelo. im pretty positive that canelo will not hurt golovkin as he has one kd in 48 rounds agaisnt ranked 154s and none were close to being stopped. ggg has also been rounds with stevens, lemuiex and jacobs without being hurt. canelo does not punch as hard as these 160s.

golovkin has averaged 80 punches a round prior to the jacobs and lemuiex fights, where he averaged 50-60. so he can be on the decline. im hoping not, and even if so, canelo only averaged 50 against punching bag chavez. my guess is that canelo will do no more than 400 punches, like he did agaisnt lara, and golovkin will throw 600 -700. if gennady averages 80/round like he did against murray then canelo has little chance if any.

canelo has gotten by with being the bigger fighter and that wont be the case against golovkin

I'd be shocked if GGG becomes an underdog. But if the odds tighten and get closer to even, the value goes back to GGG. I haven't played it yet and am still undecided. Nice to hear other opinions.

By the way, does anyone have a lean on To-to-Toe Tuesdays on FS1 tonight? Miguel Cruz vs Alex Martin are basically a pick 'em at -115 & -125.

I checked BoxRec for tonight's FS1 main event welterweight fight and it's a re-match from 2016 that most people think was a robbery. Miguel Cruz won the first bout by a 96-94, 96-94, 99-91 split decision in which both Jimmy Smith and Antonio Tarver thought Martin clearly won the fight with superior boxing. So did I from watching it. Martin is also southpaw to Cruz's orthodox and both moves and scores more while Cruz looks for a knockout and resorts to low blows when frustrated. I like the value on Martin as a slight favorite to right the wrong this time. Line is on the move with Martin getting bet down and 5Dimes limiting me to win $100 on this oddly. Full fight is below if you want to watch and decide for yourself.

Alex Martin (-117) vs Miguel Cruz ~$121.50 for ~$103.85
Alex Martin (-135) vs Miguel Cruz $135.00 for $100.00

Before this fight was announced Canelo was +350 or so here. Prior to GGG fight with Jacobs & Canelo/Chavez. Those fights shouldn't have such a dictation of odds here IMO. GGG should surely be around -240 but right now it's at -180 and getting better

Most fights this weekend look pretty lopsided other than Mosely Jr. I don't know a great deal about he or his opponent Toussaint. Toussaint appears to have fought better comp as far as exp goes but fighting out of Australia < USA? Mosely +150?

Love GGG points +333. I don't understand the perception that if it's a KO it's GGG, if it's decision it's Canelo. I think the fight likely goes the distance and GGG is better.
