Tuf 25 finale pbp/discussion

Even the best of the best go 0'fer sometimes 0-3. You know by now I'm 100% transparent about my wins and my losses. I don't sugarcoat my bets or try to put up this fancy facade like I'm an unstoppable freight train who never loses.
*NEWSFLASH* I lose! and then I pick myself back up and dust my shoulders off and start winning #CharlieSheen

I'm all about positivity so just gonna get back to cappin' in the lab and smash tomorrow's card. I'm the NBA killer kapper so MMA isn't my main focus but don't get it twisted because I still make money hand over fist in this sport.

I post my losing slips because I want to show aspiring handicappers that only posting winning slips is bad manner #esports

Keep in mind a lot of people think the Diaz's suck because of how hittable they are. A chin and the ability to dish out while outlasting can go a long ways. I don't think he's ever going to be champ, but he can give a lot of guys a hard time.

He's just and absolute junkyard dog. A guy that will never be the best like Arturo Gatti but will always be the fan favorite and can't miss TV.

He is just constructed with all the right pieces. Like, he has got that Fabio Maldonado heart and indomitable will, the Diaz bro "don't give a flying fuck" attitude, Matt Brown toughness, Melvin Guillard type athleticism, a Condit- esque chin, Lineker-esque hands and that natural hard work ethic that's hardwired into his DNA from his daddy that is his secret sauce. It all combined to make him absolute assassin. And again ..., can't miss TV! One day somebody will shoot him before he shoots them, but until then it's going to be fun watching him take out dudes for fun, like the baddie in a Tarantino film lol

Glad you hit most your bets tonight bro, keep tipping them dogs for us :)

Bro, I'm just glad that this community has settled back down in here and it's finally fun enough to watch fights and post again. There is a ton of people in here with awesome insight and I am glad 90% of us had a great nightsl,

Didn't pay much attention to the odds before this event but Ishihara at -275 is/was puzzling.

Yeah, i would not count on Gaethje falling apart at all. MJ on the other hand is mentally fragile, although he is very quick. He just ends up trading too much for his own good.
Hooft is not exactly known for being a good coach in regards to adjustments.
Gaethje hitting air? When has MJ ever stuck to a gameplan of being a quicker outside backfoot fighter? He was winning against Nate like this, but then elected to stand in and brawl with him instead. I see something similar happening here.

Just call me Nostradamus

0.5U Gaethje and 0.5U Ishi itd leaves me 0.5U up. I'll take it.

Nice night. Meynard and Gaethje cashed, Herman and Diakiese did not. +1.5u risking 2.5u.

Edit. I forgot I had a big bet on Torres dec, so +0.5u after all risking 3.5u

Good call. I think most of the arguments by the Gaethje backers held true. He's just durable as hell and has a lot of pressure. Johnson has shown that he can easily be brought into a brawl. I still think that fight was play the dog either way. I was on Gaethje at +135, but I'd have been on Johnson at those odds. A lot of the Johnson's backers claims held true as well - he's fast, hits hard as hell, and Gaethje is very hittable. The problem is that he's been there before and succeeded in a dogfight.

Ferg vs Gaethje is the interim title fight we should get. That would be a war.

Yeah agreed. If Johnson could stick to a gameplan, he'd have won this, and several other fights, he has all the tools. I think Blackzillians is all wrong for him, if someone could teach him to fight a bit off the backfoot and train him mentally... And perhaps, gasp, check a legkick once in a while.
The longer he elected to brawl with Gaethje, which he was always going to fall into imo, the further he was taking it into Gaethjes world, and eventually perishing.

cordeiro would turn mj into a world beater. shit, he would probably turn theodorou into a world beater.

Focus on the fat chick on the right. She falls right after Michael Johnson does.

Curious if anyone knows how long it usually takes bet365 to adjust the parlays that had Ladd in them?

it depends, it can be 1 day , it can be 30 days. They will wait to see if the UFC reschedules the fight.
