UFC 213 pbp/discussion

Drinks not an issue my man. When I was at Planet Hollywood in June every time I made a bet at the book I got a free drink voucher. You don't even need to bet lots to get a voucher - say 20 bucks.

Lets say you wanna put 100 on fighter x. Just go up and make like 5 separate bets of 20 anytime you feel like a drink....presto free drinks for the next hour.

Before people jump on me for being a cheapskate keep in mind drinking can be hella expensive in Vegas. When playing poker (or gaming in any way) a tequila shot is free or maybe a buck for a tip. If you order a tequila shot at the bar it is about $ 13.

but yeah chilling in the book with yall would be so dope.

That's what I was saying

Like I said,I'd rarely use a $ system but you can't on tracking services

That said, I got to thinking that $20k is too much to keep in an offshore book and I withdrew $15k and will not keep more than $5k going forward in any one book.

So $50 is my unit .Right?
nope you must be trolling now. unit size has nothing to do with how risk averse you are in relation to how much money you are prepared to keep online at any one time. It is generally accepted that a single unit is equal to 1% of your bankroll. i cant explain any simpler. this is the most basic part of bet sizing theory. you are going to really struggle with the more advanced concepts of bet sizing

Don't be fooled by this guy man. He's a fucking scumbag, this is what he came up with to keep those units inflated. Would bet my life now that he's said that we still see him making double digit unit bets on the regular to jack his stats

I have a loyal base with ZERO negs so your opinion is worthless. In the end it's ROI.

But when I was using higher units my BR was much lower as I withdraw from time to time and took out a massive amount. But I'm not going to leave more than $5000 from here on out. But when I was accused of inflating units my BR wasn't $20k ..this was never figured in... you see it grew. Look at the stats.

You're such a hater.

cool story STFU

Buddens & MMAGF have to share a room in Vegas

How are the lines there? I feel like people have said that most books don't give props out and only ml and o/u's but i don't remember too well. Have you been to Reno as well?

I was at Reno many years ago and it was not cool at all compared to Vegas. Vegas is just so sick.

Chilling in the pool all afternoon with DJ rocking it is pretty fun.

Yeah lines are mainly ML and over/unders. It doesn't matter though as long as you have your phone you can still make bets on 5d or BM. However important to note that I couldn't access my Bet365 account while in Vegas.

I imagine drinking all day in the pool and meanwhile shooting the shit discussing fights. Get showered up, have dinner then hit the books to make bets and watch the fights. Doing that Friday and Sat back2back would be the bomb.

Westgate has all ML and O/U. Only props on big main events or big boxing

There lines are similar to offshore sometimes a bit better or worse. Limits fluctuate. I've been limited to a dime(win). But they were cool with 5200 on Jesse Taylir last week

so you just walk in pay 5k in cash, I don't know what line you got on Taylor's but iirc it was fairly close to a pk. So you're walking out with about 10k and they just pay you in cash right there? Am I right about that, b/c it seems pretty dangerous with that type of money if it is indeed straight cash. is that part of the reason you carry?

yeah that was big on bm for awhile, I believe GF and EZ were two of several ppl here who killed lb'ing during rds. Bm took it down awhile back and they dont' even give in between rd lines, which is gay, but whatever, that's what dimes is for. I think dudes like Ez were killing them hard enough to make them take the lb'ing away. Probably losing money on bigger bets. I never messed with it but it does seem like a large reward if you're willing to take a risk when guys are actually in the type of situation you described. Definitely value if you are reading the fight correctly (which you did).

Also, Werdum tko I liked a good amount, pissed me off so bad he went for the td when he had Reem basically out on his feet and seemingly thinking he was done himself. Still bitter about that lol. But yeah i've heard across the pond and abroad they have very good with lb'ing which makes me kind of wish I had was a euro or Aussie, etc.

I don't know whether it is true, but yesterday when I withdrew money from bookmaker I had to talk to upper management to do a bank transfer. Anyway, I asked them about live betting and they put me on the phone with management over the in game action and he said that they were looking to try and bring it back by fall. That they were hoping to get it re-started with an interactive system. He said that there have been various requests concerning this as I could only imagine LOL I'm not sure whether or not he knew what he was talking about because I could barely understand what the fuck he was saying so who knows if he even understood what I was saying LOL but if there wasn't a "lost in translation" issue, live betting may be back on bookmaker or in the fall.

People walk with a lot more than 10k in Vegas. It is a pretty safe place if you stay on the strip and in casinos (ie. don't walk down some sideroad)

Bear in mind everywhere you go there are cameras so its a pretty strong deterrent to theft.

You'd be surprised the amount of cash in Vegas.

And I don't carry in the casino. But I don't worry much inside the casino.

I got JT @ -140.

Yeah I know, 1% to 3%… It's not I fixed 1 percent that is what most people use but aggressive gamblers go as high as 3% with Kelly

1% of 5000 is $50. How is that trolling?

I'm actually gonna be in vegas from Friday til Monday. Anyone else gonna be there?
