Tony Ferguson made 500k, meanwhile in Bellator

You think the UFC didn't offer Rory a deal at all? haahah how dense are you? i'm sure bare minimum they're paying Rory & Mousasi is 200k per fight & pretty sure it's higher cause UFC not losing them for nothing, they lost cause bellator was willing to pay more.

Nope he got an offer from bellator and UFC said cool story bro have fun, no counters

Per this article accurate as of two days ago; http://thesportsdaily.com/mma-manif...salary-main-ufc-career-fighter-earnings-html/

Phil Davis only made $530,000 his entire UFC career spanning 12 fights including Reebok sponsorships. That's about $44k/fight with no indication that he would be receiving higher or equal pay when his contract was up given that he was a boring fighter, 2-2 in his last 4, and the direction the UFC has been going.

In his Bellator career, he has made $130k against Newton, $60k against Carmont, $60k against King Mo, $60k against McGeary, and $30k against Bader not including any sponsorship money. That's $68k/fight average with good bargaining power going into his next contract.

Your post sucks ass. Tony Ferguson's money has nothing to do with Phil Davis' potential earnings, and Phil Davis' money is clearly better in Bellator.

But but with Bellator they're making eight figures in sponsorship, haven't you heard?

<{MingNope}>

Phil Davis made 30/30 +10k Reebok in his second last UFC bout.
In his last Bellator bout against Bader he made probably 50/50 and probably 50k in sponsors.
So he gets a lot more money for fighting against lesser competition which means a longer career, more money, more health

So a much bigger draw and more well known to casuals and still makes less? Cool. He's also on record saying he makes less in sponsor money because he's waiting for big sponsors, ok Rory
Do you know that Rory made 50k in UFC against Lawler and 400k in Bellator against Daley?

Can we stop comparing Bellator and ufc salaries?

In the end none of us know how much they really make.

How do you know Phil is one fight away from a title shot?

They will give it to Mo before they do a Phil/Bader trilogy

I think Coker knows the fans don't want to see a rubbermatch right now and after Bader beats Vassel he will probably fight Mo

McGeary isn't going to sniff another title shot anytime soon even when he beats Bubba McDaniel the top 4 guys are bad matchups for McGeary and I like McGeary

Phil has won two belts with Bellator, that's pretty good still, but they are feeding him a relative nobody for his next fight

It'll be easy money for Davis and I'm not saying he won't get another title shot just not by beating this guy

When is Phil Davis or King Mo getting 1 fight or 2 fights proximity to Conor McGoat?

Phil Davis made 30/30 against king mo earlier this year

<{Heymansnicker}>
And probably another million in sponsors.

This might be new information to you but high level athletes make their greatest income from sponsors. That's why the Reebok deal screwed so many people and the upper echelon fingers cut their own private deals with Reebok.

Tony Ferguson is also a more exciting fighter with a more interesting (in a weird way) personality and is much higher ranked

Why is this a comparison?
This guy gets it

Instead of making one post saying the same thing, I'll just copy other people who put it best...

Bellator posted salaries aren't accurate, these guys didn't turn down ufc deals for 30-50k like what's published. You think the UFC didn't offer Rory atleast 50/50? cause that's what they publish that he gets which isn't correct.

Benson Henderson has had one sponsor , his own gym (lol) , since leaving for "sponsor opportunity"
<{outtahere}>
Sponsors doe!!! They all make 6 figures easy.

I've said from the start that I think the Reebok payouts are too low. But I've seen a lot from fighters and managers talking about the sponsorship market is nowhere near what it used to be. I'm sure some guys still get good payouts, but I doubt it's very common or easy to do.

And people should stop saying the UFC doesn't allow sponsors. I see lots of social media posts from fighters thanking their sponsors. I just imagine that without the fight week exposure, they get less $ from sponsors. Or they have to do more work for their sponsors outside of the UFC. Grasso is always plugging her sponsors on social media.

No UFC offered both Rory and Mousasi contracts. They turned them down. That actually ruined Rockhold vs Mousasi.

Chandler gets paid MUCH more then is posted. Bellator has signing bonuses, sponsors, media events, salaries etc. Are you just hating on Bellator or Davis (its fine if its Davis). Also Davis was offered a contract from the UFC he turned it down to take the bellator offer I believe, so overall this post is kinda pointless because you are comparing a UFC champ and super exciting and popular and visible guy to...phil davis.
