Will judges fuck off with these splits?
Camacho, Belal, Clark were all clear winners yet judges love making me sweat.
Disagree on Belal but yeah Camacho/Clark clearly won.

It was like the bell rang for the worst night of the year, was there a significant punch landed all night? I didn't see fight pass, but literally there was nobody rocked the entire card other than Collier ugh
lol Collier was not on this card dude...

Did anybody besides bookies made profit on this card?

In retrospect it was a good card to livebet

Fotn Camacho/brown hits at +600

last time was benoit-sampo

and yep, brown got the full 100k bonus

After the volkanovski fight i went to bed. looks like i made the right decision.

for anyone saying matthews won rd 1, come on. he was 0 for 3 in strikes. he landed ZEEEEEEEEEERRRRROOOOOOOOOO strikes. ZERO.

total strikes in round one, bojan landed 59 of 73

i middled the fight so could care less either way. velickovic shouldve maintained top position in round three instead of going for the sub and getting reversed which probably lost him the round and the fight

The FOTN for me was staying up until 1:30 for that shit card. It was a struggle and then the kids were up at 6:30 this morning...

I had clean 6/6 sweep on prelims and ended up losing 1u.

Down 3u on total action, though up slightly on shared picks. The Belickovic decision and Volk not finishing ITD are both #1 bullshit.
I think Young was just as impressively composed under fire as Volk was with his constant pressure. Did not see that coming.

i'm so fuckin angry at the velickovic *robbery* man. but i guess these things happen once a year or so.. an event where just nothing goes right (besides belal decision)

i think i made two bad plays. bec prefight & werdum-tybura DNGD. other than that, man, i don't have any regrets. none.

just happens sometimes, can happen to anyone. i lost over 2 grand on this ufc, that's 20+ units.. but i'm still up over 150 units on the year, and that's all that matters. it's not a sprint, it's a marathon. i refuse to let this get me down.

onto next week.

You're easily one of the best cappers here...

At least you have the discipline not to go full degen after a few losses...

You have no idea how many times I've flushed my entire bankroll down the toilet after a few losses going on tilt.

I got to the point I currently am after some hard lessons. We all do that stuff as gamblers.. the key is to learn from it

Well yeah, but they shouldn't do that. If body language is being de-emphasized these days, that's a good thing.

It's pretty tough to argue that the more scared guy is winning the fight. You can argue "damage," but is it really damage if the other guy isn't affected by it? (granted, I know in this case Kelly's leg was hurting, but I'm speaking hypothetically.) This isn't Olympic tae kwon do we're talking about. It's supposed to be a fight. Body language has its place in judging.

Getting kicked in the body and legs hurts like a mofo and causes damage whether Kelly shows it or not. It's perfectly fine to assume a body kick did the job even if the opponent has a great poker face.

By contrast, Theo getting knocked off balance by a Kelly punch while on one leg is way less significant. Getting knocked off balance is too heavily rated by judges.

I got crushed on this card. ended up like 6u down just on this event, but boxing stemmed the flow a bit, so 4u down for the night.

That's why I laugh my ass off when guys in here act like they've been doing this for years and never lost

I've been doing this since 2000 and have taken more beatings over the years than Diego Sanchez. Everybody has had losing events and made bets they aren't proud of, but this is definitely a long-term game.

The anonymity of internet forums definitely brings about some major embellishing though. Everyone is a winner!

Yes, but some leg kicks don't hurt at all. I'm not saying Kelly wasn't hurt by the leg kicks, he was and he showed it--that's why he lost. But if he walked through them without batting an eyelash, then he should have won the fight regardless of the strike count. As is, it was closer than the scorecards indicated.
