UFC Fox 27 - Jacare vs Brunson II - Charlotte

Bookies seem to be on point lately. Was hoping Sandhagen would open around -150, but I don't think I can play him at -210. His striking is impressive, but Arnett showed he is tough as nails and will keep coming, not the type I like to lay heavy juice against.

Only play so far is 1 unit on Niko Price at -275, wish I played heavier on his opener. Looking to play his KO line closer to fight night.

Leaning towards Brunson and Brunson KO. Hoping his odds will increase closer towards fight night, what do you guys think?

Also anyone confident on Katlyn Chookagian winning?

Brunson odds peaked at +150 and have been consistently bet down since. WIth the red flags coming out on Jacare that T6 mentioned on the last page, I think this line closes around evens.

Chook wins if she can stay off her back for long periods. I think she can, have a small bet on her ml and dec line. I did stab Borella sub +711 as well, as I believe that his her most likely path.

arnett must cut a shitload of weight to make 145, i wonder what condition he'll be in taking this on short notice?

Might be worth a stab if he comes in 4+ considering that trend of fighters coming in overweight winning fights.

I’ll be doing so if that happens cause I keep getting stung by these mongs coming in 3+ pounds overweight

I do really like Silva against Pichel, so I have a couple units on him, and small on Markos.

Why so confident in Silva Blunt? I'm thinking this one will be close.

Silva won the Madadi fight because Madadi continually backed himself up against the cage and stood right in front of him. Pichel is much better at circling out and taking the center. Silva had a difficult time with Malegarie, who showed better lateral movement and mixed in a few level changes. It was close, but I actually scored that fight for Malegarie. Silva's defensive wrestling is pretty good, but Pichel doesn't necessarily need takedowns here to have success. He's shown the ability to grind on guys against the fence and do damage there.

The obvious concern with Pichel is him having less than a round of fight time in the last 3.5+ years. It could have been ring rust but I thought he looked off against Brown, until Brown ran face first into that right hand. It's hard to really know what version of Pichel we're getting here with the inactivity though.

No bets for me yet, but right now I'm thinking the over might have value and possibly a stab at either guy's decision line. I think it's fairly likely to go the distance and be close on the cards, maybe even a split.

My bad, didn't see this at first buddy. Basically even though Silva hasn't looked like a killer or anything against mediocre comp, he's the younger man, been more active, more well rounded, and a better athlete.

I like what I've seen from Silva so far. Vinc can bang but as you've mentioned he's only had one fight since 2014. and that lasted a bit more than half a round. I think he could out strike Silva but I also think Silva can out strike him and get the better of grappling exchanges, esp if Vinc does start to tire, which I think is likely considering he's spent such a small amount of time in the cage lately, and Silva being able to go the distance and win, albeit closely, in his recent fights.

I agree it's a risky play, tho, so I'm a bit nervous about it, but I'm gonna take a chance on the more athletic 28 y/o who's shown he can grind out Dec's and also has the power to end fights on the feet. But as mentioned I wouldn't be surprised if Vinc was able to out strike him and/or ko him.

I don't think Silva's gonna be anything special but I think he's got talent and on his way up, whereas Vinc is getting older, has had injury issues and more mileage and I believe he's close or already on the downside of his career.

I really like Brunson round1 ko and Price as well.

I'm actually picking Borella to win, she's out classed on the feet but she has a good body lock and Katlyn is susceptible to those td's. Borella is also very patient on the ground so I can see her getting Katlyn down and keeping her there to win a decision or get a sub. The striking is a concern but she's also very patient on the feet and won't do anything silly.

Brunson R1 +450 is a fantastic play, imo

+550 at Ladbrokes, played it a bit.

Edit : It even goes to +600 with daily boost :D

Also Bermudez sub +800
Fili sub +1500
Hit those both as well

Also Price KO + 193 with daily boost at Williamhill

Ive not seen chook taken down by a bodylock...

Wow, excellent!

What is his R1 KO line? I know you guys get those. Probably not much better

+475 at unibet
+550 paddypower

Not sure if others have it. So Ladbrokes again at it with bargains :p
