im not worried about it as you should be able to hedge. live betting rarely takes into consideration venue decisions, hence, lyoto +450 going into round five last weekend

I got +600 on Dimes coming into the 5th round. It started off at +700.

One of the more absurd live betting lines I've ever seen.

Ishi could slow down later in fight for sure, but I give him a fairly decent standup edge here. Not getting the quinones love (based on him being a 1:2 fave)

Feels way closer to a pickem to me. Has quinones fought so far from home previously? Anyone know?

Im not a huge fan of Mr. Sexy Bitches, but I already stabbed at ishi +180.
Me too. Quinones' line is as baffling as his stand-up style. I think Ishihara could look pretty good against him if he get's the weight cut right and remembers to block at least some highkicks.

I think Quinones can take Ishi down.
That's my worry as an ishi backer. I think ishi could kick the legs of Jose and hinder his movement a bit to setup that left hand. Ishi's gas tank is a bit to be desired as well. After round 1 it should be Jose's fight to win a Decision. What are your thoughts?

I think the Johnson line was even more absurd, +433 in round 3 and I thought he was up 2 rounds and winning the 3rd. Machida/Anders was much more of a coinflip, I thought Anders was winning while watching, did not pay too much attention to the fight though, still insane odds

this is what i think too. quin needs to avoid getting caught early.

it's obvious ishi doesn't take his training seriously and moving to 135 isn't going to improve his gas tank or striking fundamentals.

I think he can too but his top control isn't really there, so I think Ishi should be able to scramble back up, at least early in the fight. I don't see Quinonez as much of grinder and I think Ishi does have the advantage standing, again while his cardio holds up. I do favor Quinonez but no way I can play him at anything close to current prices. I might even consider a play on Ishi KO or round 1.

It sucks that this fight is going to be on FightPass so no live betting available to me. I can easily see Ishi looking good in the first and fading.

From what I can tell, he's never fought outside of North America.

FWIW, based on Instagram, it looks like Ishi has been in Perth since Fri/Sat and Quinonez arrived Tues/Wed.

I’m taking Romero at 2.20 1 unit. He is so explosive and dangerous so I expect he will chin check Rockhold at least a few times. He also looked really good vs Whittaker and I wasn’t that impressed of Luke vs Branch.
I like Romero aswell, think he might close at over +150 so I'm waiting, and might just hit his ITD line instead, I have a hard time seeing him winning a deicison

Yeah maybe. Quinonez seems to be developing his wrestling and ground game at a decent pace and Ishi was a turtle against Maynard and gassed very quickly. I still think theres value on Quinonez.

Yes that would be a good game plan but I still like Quinonez close to -200 just because I dont see Ishi winning unless he lands that KO blow and he had trouble landing clean against Artem Lobov who is as hittable as it gets (although he did hurt him in the 3rd).

Hard to disagree with ya and you're most likely on the right side I just see Ishi pressuring early and when Jose uses his front kick to get some room to move Ishi countering him with a straight left as some of the big punchers at TAM are often doing now (garbrandt vs Cruz, Emmett vs Lamas etc). Not saying Ishi is some ko artist but damnit I'm taking a chance! Best of luck to you though.

I took some on Rockhold wins in round 4 at +1425, wins in round 5 at +2225. Also like a small bet on Hunt wins by three round decision at +700.

NOT Blaydes ITD -250 think this holds value for sure. I think it's really unlikely that Hunt gets finished.

Hunt Dec popped to +875.. errr now +775.. k taking some, too. Have a tiny bet on that and blaydes Dec +200 both.. fookin limits

Also got some ishi dec +4xx.. it opened +5xx.. and now sitting +290.. foooooookin limits!!!

Brown dec , jumeau Dec, hirota Dec all stabbed , too, at openers

Aldensanya ITD -140 1u
Blaydes Dec +242 .5u

Quin down to -160 now for those talking about. I had hit previously at -175 thinking it was going to close around -200. :(. But I agree with Agent Mulder that Quin will be able to take Ishi down and Ishi will fade hard after 1. Long flight, first cut to 135 in the UFC and shorter time between weigh-ins and fight time doesn't bode well for a guy who gassed in 1 round vs Maynard at 145.
