Yeah, sounds good, until you remember that grapplers have an easier time deciding where the fight ends up than strikers. All it takes is one clinch and down McGregor goes.

He got hit once? So did Conor in his fight with Chad Mendes. That doesn't make Conor a bad striker. Is Khabib an elite striker? No. Is he good? Yes, all you have to do is watch his fights and see the statistics.

His striking has improved far more than a "little bit". Iaquinta is a good striker and Khabib dominated him.

Let's see what happens when he tries to strike Conor like he did with the bums he fought before? He fought two good strikesr and he outstruck them but both Iaquinta and Barboza wasn't aware what was going on because of the strikes from ground and pound.Fresh Barboza and Iaquinta outstrikes him easily.

Check my post history and see if i'm a Conor fan or not.First time ever in my life rooting for Conor but i got Khabib winning.
 
The real question is if mcgregor is going to mess him up before he gets a chance to grab him

We need an over/under netting line for this. I think 120 seconds is a good over/under line.
 
Khabib is a very humble, grounded guy. Of course anyone who knows fighting already knows the answer to that question. Why would the media guy even ask. As far as a second fight after khabib "changes his face" i doubt conor will sign that one. It wont be like the diaz fight, where it was short notice and he could have found a way to win. He fought diaz 2x because he knew it was close and he wanted to even the score. This one in all likelyhood wont be. If it goes how i think it will, they would have to pay conor so much to take that beating again and no one would care after it was do one sided. The can conor hit the lucky punch fight isnt one i want to see after we all watch khabib destroy him.
 
This is a classic striker vs grappler matchup.

I expect Khabib to get Conor to the ground asap while at the same time Conor to keep the fight on the feet and get the KO. Khabib would be a fool to try and keep it on the feet only but you never know he could always feint a takedown and maybe catch Conor with something.

Will be great when this matchup eventually happens.
