Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series- Season 2

here is a bit of footage here from Moffett and Lowry latest figths.. starts at the 27:40 mark

I hit the jackpot smashing Hardy on Bovada at -225 for the max to win $250.

Gordon+Bryant - $40 to win $950

let's go

time to make up for my Cody Garbrandt sadness

I've been listening to this guy for a few months now. His bd's are kind of robotic but super observant and he bats like 65-70% on straight picks.

Solid breakdowns but as of now his "parlay of the week" is -675 Hardy, -555 Nzechukwu, and -395 Moffet. Ahh, no thanks.

Played Smith and Coughran for .5u each though at + odds, just to get some action on tomorrow night's fights. If he hits one of those two, that works for me...

I don't really like parlays on DWTNCS cards, but you can't say he was recommending those inflated prices per se. If you acted promptly your odds would have been much, much better.

To be fair I think when he made the bd's the odds hadn't been released yet.

Edit* posted this before I saw Jims response lol my bad.

Oh for sure, I know all those spiked. I've just never heard of this guy and this is the first time I've listened to him. So by the time I heard it, no way was I even going to entertain that parlay. The two dogs he likes I'm for sure okay taking small stabs at though.

anyone been able to find Smith's fight vs Gherts? i wonder if he improved his tdd enough since his fight with Gunter becourse in that fight his tdd and defensive grappling was pretty much non-existent.. Lowry been wrestling since he was 5 yo so seems like easy path for victory unless Smith improved bigtime

I think Fight Does Not GTD is very underestimated in the Kennedy fight. -175? Wtf. You have to remember that Kennedy's 1st showing had a couple factors going in - UFC debut, by far his biggest platform, and against a BJJ black belt who had good momentum going in (beat a TUF vet and won a regional belt).

Kennedy is far more comfortable now, fighting in another major promotion in LFA since, and he doesn't have to worry about going to the ground with a BJJ black belt. I truly believe that is why Kennedy didn't push the issue on the ground, as Kennedy is extremely strong, and brutal with the GNP.

With Bryant you have a big, but not nearly as muscled 205er that looks for the takedown, and has had success with subs in top position. However, "The Beard" looked very winded in his last two wins, and he didn't face nearly the specimen that Kennedy is. So imo, if Bryant does not get a sudden sub in the first, he will get physically overwhelmed by a man that will have no issue going forward, looking to improve on his first performance.

-260 now, I missed it. Would have hit that for sure but now...too steep imo.

Serious question, I've been wondering this since before his first contender fight -

What does Kennedy impress people with? Other than his physique and his "potential"? He beats cans and doesn't seem to do so that impressively. He beat Berzin only because Berzin had zero energy after round 1, and did so with little more than jabs. He's timid with mediocre striking and poor defense. I don't see how any experienced fighter isn't a solid pick against him, especially at these odds.

lol, Dennis Bryant vs. Moana had the weakest ground and pound finish ever, she should never have been in the cage in the first place

His opponent Bryant's experience is from Alaska Fighting Championship. Not very good opposition.

Devonte Smith got stopped by John Gunther LMAO. Smith looks really athletic but he got beat by Gunther 18 months ago and straight up quit in that fight. Other than that he's only beat bums, Justin Edwards a shot fighter is his best win.

Even though Lowry is a military vet (which means you should fade him) he has beaten the better competition. He looks athletic himself, he's tough and he fights mean, should expose Smith's poor ground game and break him with pressure. Odds are fairly accurate though, Smith is dangerous too.

Only has one opponent with a winning record, it's been pretty profitable to fade AFC fighters so far.
Kennedy has a 10 inch reach advantage (4 inches taller) and he uses it pretty well, I think he'll get the finish here, whatever he lacks in wrestling/grappling compared to Bryant should be made up for by his size/strength/athleticism

haha ya i was laughing out loud when he was hitting him softly in the armpit and looking at the ref like "why you aint stopping this fight yet?"

<36>

On the favs here besides Smith. It feels like these cards have been getting worse lately and odds are wider.
