I wish him all the best. But even as a 2-1 underdog, I would not bet on Kelvin.

He landed one good shot on Weidman, but couldn't get anything off the other 12 minutes. He fought Jacare to a virtual tie. He beat quite a few lower-top-20 guys. Meanwhile, his opponent has wiped the floor with the division.

Kelvin has improved year after year after year more than most anyone in the sport. More than Matt Brown even. I just don't see him improving enough to handle Whittaker.

So I guess I agree with him on one thing; I don't expect it to be close either.

Gas is a terrible matchup for Yoel. Iron chin, heavy hands, crisp accurate boxing, great timing, very quick, solid defensive wrestling. Gas just might be the single worst matchup for yoel at MW

I could see Gas winning but Whittaker is no joke, I do have concerns over his last 2 wars. He got fucked up by Romero. I think his best chance at winning is using kicks staying on the outside and trying to wrestle with Gas. If he tries to box him Gas will fuck him up badly.
