Yea we need to get more exposure for the shoops and the shoop scene. I so want to get social media but I don't know how and am afraid of making an account that no one will see.

Igor trying to encroach on my fame.

the thing about social media is you have to be active and for a long time, you should be posting ALL your shoops to your twitter and/or instagram with links to the relevant sherdog thread really, you're never going to just hit the ground running on there even if you put out masterpieces every week. You make so many shoops that it seems criminal you haven't at least had a twitter account, and there's really not much to it than writing a small description plus some hashtags like #UFC232 #SHERDOG #MMA etc and then the thread links (and the shoop)

it's up to you whether you mention fighters or tag them in the shoops

That sounds too easy. hmmm....

It's a chore, there is very little joy in it until people start responding, but if you want the fame you have to play the game

It's all in the name (the fame game)

Twitter is easy because it works on both mobile AND desktop properly unlike instagram, doesn't have a billion profile options like facebook, and accepts most media formats in their original dimensions (with various jiggery pokery going on at their end for display purposes) plus the character limit forces you to keep it short and sweet.

My word. I don't know any if that stuff. It sounds so confusing now.

Now you're just toying with me, there's no way a sherdog mod contest organizer extraordinaire video editing wizard ISL winning shoop god can't fill out a tiny bio, upload an AV and tweet shoops with barely more effort required than a sherdog post.

Social media is something that does not interest me in the slightest. Not one tiny bit. I have always said that I would never do it. But then again a few years ago I thought shooping was dumb and diving into that has been a good adventure. Ya know sometimes you just gotta dive in head first and banzai it. It's tempting... but I hate it.. it's tempting... but I hate it. That's what I am feeling about it.

I Shoop mainly for me but don't get me wrong there is a huge sense of satisfaction when people like the work and comment on it. Having more people see the shoops via social media is definitely not a bad thing. And besides those fuckers on social media are getting more "glory" from my shoops than I do haha. I post something and am lucky to see double digit Likes and about 1-3 comments. People post my shoops on social media and get hundred of comments and tens of thousands of Likes. It's kinda funny.

I'm rambling. So many thoughts.

I've had fighters share my shoops on social media and it felt like my work had gone viral indirectly

Think of it like a sherdog mod duty and don't waste your time reading other peoples tweets. Only follow a few accounts like bosslogic, sherdog, mmajunkie etc and don't worry too much about doing anything else except tweeting your shoops. Can always just stop logging in, but I think given how much time you put into your shoops, spending that little bit of extra time to potentially reach thousands more people will pay off for you eventually.

You're going to be shooping here in 5+ years time, why not have a 5 yr old twitter account with hundreds of amazing shoops on it and a bunch of followers that retweet them for you?

Humanity as a whole is lucky Dana White does NOT look like that. He would have been an even more insufferable POS.
Edit: doesn't look like Brock White
