Photos of my New Sporting 14oz Floyd-Conor themed gloves:

I can almost guarantee they’re going to laugh at him if he does. Hope not.
I highly doubt he gets a refund or replacement just because there is some padding showing on the inside of the gloves. I see this from time to time with Mexican made gloves. For me, part of the appeal of Mexican gloves is the fact that there are little imperfections and slight differences in each glove. It reminds you that they really are handmade in a small shop somewhere in Mexico. It gives the gloves some personality in my opinion, as opposed to gloves from Pakistan that are mass produced and look like they came off an assembly line with everything neat and perfect (until you actually use the gloves and they start to fall apart within a few months....with the exception of a few brands like UMA and TopBoxer, which do great work). But if he asked for triple cuffs and got flat cuffs instead, I would definitely be irritated by that. Assuming he didn’t agree to the flat cuffs later on, I think that justifies a replacement pair or at least a partial refund. If it was me, I definitely wouldn’t want to wait on a replacement pair though with how slow New Sporting can be these days.

I understand but NS is not the type to just tell him they’re sorry and that it doesn’t intefere with performance whatsoever. Any complaint in the smallest and they respond with sarcasm and arrogance. One of my pairs is barely usable, the other got the wrong text on the backhand. I wouldn’t care for small imperfections as I’ve admitted I like my 16oz NS it’s just I deal with vendors of their nature everytime I fly to my moms home country, why even bother?

@Lotnik I do hope you contact them to see if for once they give a justified response. And if not you can always provide us with the convo and that’s even more evidence, for potential prey and for even dudes like Csquaredbox.

I probably will no contact them any more. I have this gloves since to months now so I think it's too late now. I got the discount 15% on the beginning so I will not argue for more refund.
Now I keep an eye on new project Salvador fight gear from guy who stands behind MXN gear.

I’ve never real dealt with NS directly, so I wasn’t aware of them being rude and sarcastic. That’s too bad because customer service and word-of-mouth reputation is so important in a business like this. Does anyone know where NS came from or how long they’ve been in business. I only heard of them about 2 years ago and now it seems like they are the most talked about Mexican brand out there. I think the guy who runs it is named Daniel....anyone know who he worked for previously or where he learned his craft?

This NS thread is the gift that keeps on giving.
So last week when they finally got back to me, and I said that I had already began the process of getting my money back with Paypal, the guy I was instagram-chatting with said I didn't need to do that, he'd sort a refund for me.
He then asked for my details (again), and promptly disappeared.
Luckily the Paypal process will come through, but it can take 6 weeks for the money to clear.
It seems NS approach everything to do with customer service in the same shitty, lax manner.
Its so awful, it is quite funny.
But I want my money back, mainly so I can buy other gloves from a more reputable site...

I can’t say 100% But I believe Hernandez and NS was once one. They both emerged with their FB pages in 2016, NS in April and Hernandez a little later in July. Ofcourse Hernandez must of been around a lot before Daniel was involved with him (if my case is correct) because Hernendez is the old timer of the two. I’ve crossed path with both Daniel and his lady’s personal FB pages, yup the young lady responsible for the rude voice notes others have complained about. One thing about them... They’re super young, they look mid 20’s maybe even younger. Could that have to do with their bad mouth and lack of morals? Most certainly. Should they get a pass? Hells no, I started running my old mans place when I was 22. Wholesale products as well as retail in the front. No experience at all, busy location yet It could never come out of anyones mouth I was rude or discourteous. They try as much as possible to keep their social media stuff away from the actual page btw.

When ever I see a response from them on the page or a post is always the same approach and word select. So I do think they both solely run New Sportings social media and they both deliver the same shitty service. To me Daniel obviously makes the gloves but most likely limits who ever else he has employed for beneficial reasons hence the late orders, lying and new shipping dates. Just seems a new kid, learnd to make a good glove (when dedicated) wanted more cash and bounced (peace old man Hrndz).

Now Hernandez actually is more popular of the two and is 400 followers shy of 8K while New Sporting is on the low 4k’s. They’re from a younger crowd and also used to sell on FB market place, they can be more vocal about pushing the product imo and used to urge customers to check out the page for more variety in the third person. I think this plays a part in the only thing they have over Hernandez which is reviews. I think New Sporting has turned more heads internationally because of their initial selection of color schemes and Grant copys. Hernandez goes outside the box sometimes posting gear that’s not going to attract everyones eye in designs.

But why im I so sure it’s Hernandez out of all? Well because It’s the two manufacturers who make the most identical gear. It’s not that one nailed the others design, these two have obviously crossed paths or have been a part of something. For all I know it could be more groups that now form other companies it might have also been MXN’s manufacturer as well but for now this is my take. Down below I’ll add some pics of Gloves from Hernandez from yesterday in New Sportings cut (or theirs originally?) and some other pairs with the same cut from other dates. You’ll see everything is identical but Hernandez does a better cleaner job all around with the stitching and all. Maybe Hernandez needed someone to put his stuff out in social media and that’s why he came a few months later with the dude that usually posts the gear up from their page. But in my view no doubt Hernandez is the “OG”. I could be all wrong but it’s my take from all the info, products and dates I have gathered.

Good info! Thanks for sharing all that. By the way, have you ever heard of a Mexican brand called Guzman Boxing? I just came across their gloves today but had never heard of them before. They have a website but I’m not sure if we are allowed to post URLs on here.

Thanks man! Just trying to get some justice and on my journey to have atleast 1/3 of the Mex Collection you have haha! I’ve never heard of Guzman till now. I went real quick and catched them on FB though. The logo is similar to Adnonis Garcia’s gloves, except with the Hecho en Mexico tag. Also even the back design, long cuff, short wide hand.

They got some dudes in some matches using their Fight gloves. Pics promoting their 10z gloves on scale, Miguel Berchelt using them, Moises Fuentes. They sure are working.

Some of their pictures lack enough quality to get a look at the texture of their leather, but they seem legit cowhide. This texture on the area of the pair below looks like the palm on my P4P gloves which are cowhide just that it’s a thinner layer in contrast to the thick leather expected from Mex gloves. I don’t think this effects performance at all imo, maybe some early marks like I experienced with mines on the left glove but that doesn’t worry me I always mark up my left gloves early on.

It’s funny how early on they are seeking out pros and offering their gear for fights yet you never see these things from New Sporting although other companies do too. Makes me think they owe some kind of exclusiveness to the Reynosos atleast in that aspect. Being as early back as 2017 they’d often post pic and videos taking gear to the Reynoso gym. They were throwing the “No Boxing no life” line at a time the brand didn’t exist.

Was thinking the same. Hopefully they will be honest and do the right thing. But from what we saw lately I doubt it.

Yeah he should def write them and keep us updated. It can be understandable if they ease up in the way they take in anything negative about their gloves, and atleast take more responsibility for their mistakes. But I don’t know I have every reason to believe they’re unfortunately two spoiled kids trying to make big moneys.

Does Hernandez make international shippings?

Im in Europe and Hernandez quoted me a decent price on a purchase with international shipping

He said itd only be a week to make as well
In some days we'll have 2 pairs of Hernández Gloves and in some weeks we'll have a lot of pairs in Madrid, Spain, for sell into Europe.FB_IMG_1556878350926.jpg FB_IMG_1556878353262.jpg FB_IMG_1556878344474.jpg FB_IMG_1556878341362.jpg

Do you know his name?

How much cost you shipping to Europe. Was it through Correos de Mexico?

One pair of gloves with Fedex to UK was about 120gbp, and then total 180gbp for two gloves to UK

So that's similar that I pay for my NS with shipping to Poland.
