The Ponies Thread (part 2)

Hey @Sharkey and @t6p mind posting your bets in easy to understand form?

I’d love to blindly follow and root for us.

Exactas:
Improbable / Tax, Tacitus, Win Win Win
Game Winner / Tax, Tacitus, Win Win Win

Trifectas:
Improbable, Game Winner / Tax, Improbable, Tacitus, Win Win Win, Game Winner / Tax, Improbable, Tacitus, Win Win Win, Game Winner

I also have small win bets on Tax +2750 and Vekoma +2000 from 5dimes earlier in the week. Let me know if those formats don't make sense and I'll try to explain better. Also, keep in mind that my plays are not @Sharkey Certified © so I'd suggest waiting for him to chime in before locking in anything. Good luck boys.

I'm basically on the same horses as T is, Timmy. Just with a little more focus on the tri and super, and more slanted towards Game Winner as being the key horse to run a good race.

Number of winner's saddlecloth 11-21 +147. We're getting Roadster, Win Win Win, Game Winner. A couple of scratches take some of the value away but still not bad, imo. Put a unit on that.

Also have an exacta box with Tax/Game Winner/Win Win Win along with some smaller, show and win bets, Vekoma at 20-1 and Tacitus, Win Win Win, etc., for fun.

GL boys!

Also the over under for the half mile is 46.5...

Is that screaming take the over to anyone else?
I dont see a whole lot of speed in this race especially on a sloppy track...

im on last leg at churchill i need the 10 or 14 for a pick 3 to win 42 or 111

Game winner / improbable / maximum security

+156 any horse wins on five dimes

Good luck thanks for all the info

What a ripoff

Honestly dome with all sports after this

Tired of the replays

thoughts on the race @Sharkey ? Was the dq warranted? Big upset, as well.

I didn't have a dog in the fight that would benefit, Blunt, but there was a clear foul (albeit probably accidental) that appeared that it could have very well affected the finishing position of one or two of them. That's a DQ by the rulebook.

The race itself was the typical clusterfuck that is the Derby most years.

Not sure if you've seen this particular angle yet, Blunt, but this is the best view yet;

Wow that's insane how much more he moved than they were showing yesterday. Thanks for that view. Must've been a candidate for the most anticlimactic cashing of a 50-1 ticket ever, tho, haha. It was like a 20min wait.

Can you imagine holding a ticket on the eventual winner through that, though? 65/1? Haha. I've even seen a couple of winning supers tweeted after the race. Good for them. Sucks for those who backed the #7 horse, though, as they didn't do anything wrong. But shit happens and shit happened.

I really didn't think they had the balls to dq the winner, I was surprised when they did, tbh. But looking at the view you posted, it was pretty blatant, even if like the announcers said on my telecast that the 7 was the best horse that race.

Hard to believe Shark but my girlfriend’s mother for who knows what reason decided to stop at OTB and put a W/P/S bet on Country House. Unfortunately it was only $2, haha.

Me when I found out...

Oh wow, T. That's awesome for her. She did get a hell of a return for her bets that's for sure even if playing the minimum. If her mother is finding 65/1 shots then you should probably marry the girl don't ya think? Haha.

It's definitely a factor worth considering when it comes time to make that decision Shark, haha.
