Could Jordan Burroughs beat Khabib?

This most recent Ask Ant article was a double helping of questions from the last two weeks. This week, we are doing a show on WEDNESDAY instead of Thursday due to the PFL event, so when PFL cards are on, we will bump "The Trenches" up to Wednesday going forward.

In "Ask Ant," Ant asked questions posed by:
@phoenixikki
@A.S. Deep
@Kung Fu Tze
@glenwo2
@europe1
@Frank McEdgar
and Fakechow14 from the youtube chat.

Thank you for all the questions! Keep them coming, there's a lot to talk about this week.

Any keys to victory and perhaps a prediction on Namajunas vs. Andrade?

Is Daniel Cormier to Stipe Miocic what Jon Jones is to Daniel Cormier? (A terrible stylistic match up that'll be very tough to beat regardless of the circumstances)

That's a great topic, and it can easily branch into a discussion about fighters that "have the other fighter's number" like Hallman over Hughes, Jeremy Horn over Chael, and so on.

On what metric is Israel Adesnaya considered a money generating star? Talent is undeniable but the few cards he has headlined hasnt been good and he was only co main in his last.

How badly do you think BJ is going to get beat? Early finish or late GnP onslaught?

Could Jordan Burroughs beat Khabib?

What in the fuck? Did you read too many threads on JB and come up with this question? What has he accomplished in MMA for you to ask this question? Are you a Burroughs believer because he won a wrestling match against Askren?

Not that Askren is a world beater in MMA, but at least he has a HUGE advantage in MMA bouts compared to Burroughs. Burroughs could end up being awesome in MMA, but he could also end up being mediocre or fail in MMA.

MMA is a totally different beast.

Someone was going to ask it anyway.

They have only fought once, so a difficult hypothetical to answer.

I agree, it's way too early to say DC has Stipe's number, and if I remember correctly (I really need to rewatch that bloody fight) it wasn't total one-sided domination for DC. I didn't remember Stipe mounting any serious offense but that remains to be re-watched. But the concept of clear one-sided matchups is a worthwhile topic.

* Who will win the PFL tournaments? Alternatively, who are you rooting for?

* Concerning experts from other Martial Arts who cross over into MMA, do you think there is a common denominator as to why some reach the highest levels while others fail? In BJJ for instance, why have guys like Maia and Jacare been Top 5 fighters while guys like Roger Gracie and Marcelo flopped?

have the other fighter's number" like Hallman over Hughes, Jeremy Horn over Chael, and so on.

Don't forget the newest addition to that list, Al over Lee.
