The line on Nunes-Holm seems way too wide to me, I don't think its likely at all Nunes TKO's Holm, a dec is her most likely path to victory with a sub possible but I doubt she goes to her ground game as it'll tire her and you can see in her recent fights she's very conscious of her energy usage.. Kinda hoping Holm does her usual idiotic behaviour of rushing into her opponents she can probably make Nunes work enough that she gasses over the 5 rounds.

Not saying Holm is great at all before someone replies telling me how bad she is, 2-4 in her last 6 or whatever. Its Nunes that is totally overrated.

Yeah. My gut feeling here is a surprisingly close decision since 5-round decision Nunes switches off her output.

Also since when is Nunes a great counterstriker? De Randamie has way better striking technique than Nunes and went 37-0 as a pro kickboxer.

She should of lost the Shevchenko fight, all she did was throw weak teeps and low kicks and then took the 1st off of Shevchenko dislocating her finger and the 5th by muscling her way to a takedown over the much smaller fighter. If she tries to counter she'll let Holm dictate the pace and Holm will happily charge in constantly pressuring which has a very good chance of gassing Nunes.

This fight is probably going to be very close unless Nunes forces a finish which is very unlikely as you can see she is terrified of gassing herself out.

Shevchenko fight? Judges inexplicably making Cyborg-Holm a 48-47? I'm personally just looking at the overs/GTD rather than MLs, but I could see the scenario happening.

Shevchenko dominated Holm 4 out of 5 rounds. Holm doesn't have the tools that Valentina did to trouble Nunes with.

I think GTD will be too uncertain to play. Holm can run away for 5 rounds, sure. But since she doesn't have a refuge in the grappling like she did against Anderson and de Randamie, and Nunes is notably faster and more technical than Cyborg, she could also be finished.

In this case, your argument is that Nunes, who has been underrated for over 5 years since her debut in the UFC until UFC 232, comparing her betting lines to her performances, has all of a sudden been overrated for less than 5 months since then because you THINK she is too much of a favorite against Holm.

Literally proving my point. Cyborg fought absolutely terribly, totally moronic using almost none of her skill or ability, but of course guys like you will jump on betting lines hammering Nunes because she got the win and therefore must be an amazing fighter for beating someone like Cyborg right?

Its the exact same thing as with Ronda, who again, fought like an absolute idiot running into counter after counter and then when she lost people didn't say 'wow Ronda was an idiot!', they said 'Holm was amazing!' And made her -300 favourite vs Miesha who then finished her.

Don't get me wrong in each of those fights Holm and Amanda did what they had to, but their opponents made it incredibly easy for them compared to what they could of done.

Of course I should just get out of here because I'm actually capable of looking at individual performances objectively and how well individuals actually performed though. So many people in this forum are way too happy with superficial analysis and chatting shit.
