Jon Fitch was 14-3 in ufc

not to mention he had beaten better talent and was the consensus #2 WW during the gsp era.

elias disgraced himself with those goofy ass performances and on top of that its not like he was beating top competition. everytime he got in there with somebody top 10 or even top 15 worthy he lost.

Thoughts on Ilir pulling out just days before the fighr ? He got to be one of the biggest let-down fighters personally for me he has pulled out several times in the recent years while despite some good performances he has looked really bad in some . Disappointed

Every time this guy fights he is making a mockery of people who use proper technique. Literally everything he does looks like shit. Can't stand watching him. it's disrespectful to be a pro and display such sloppiness outside the HW division.

If he got cut only because of the lose I say he should still be here.

Seems kind of like letting the Bucks still go to the championship because Giannis is more entertaining.

yeah this was a weird one. same as with fitch - when you're that boring they are looking for an excuse to cut you. one and only one loss will do.

As long as he isn't top ten. It should be fine.

Winning should be enough, i mean, not everyone is a draw but the sport its also a competition, he could be used to fill cards as long as he keeps winning, considering his last performance it cant go very far in the rankings, so they could afford to have him signed so they can have more fights on random cards.

He got 40,000k to lose to Brunson (not including reebok) so that means he gets 80,000k to win. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze.......

The show is just about to begin, and I am really looking forward to it. We have the questions from last week and some new ones, and boy is there a lot to talk about.

Feel free to jump in the live youtube chat to talk with our hosts about the topics.

Yes. He had some BS decision wins too. Also, he runs in the cage to avoid getting hit and then does some pitter pater to score points.

8-3 in the UFC, won TUF Nations, with only losses to Thiago Santos, Brad Tavares and Derek Brunson. Hard to say that when you compare his record to other fighters on the roster, he was a top-15 guy going into the Brunson fight if I remember correctly. Just a lot of decisions that weren't special.
The 3 guys who beat him are the 3 guys at middle weight who are used to bridge the gap between top guy and title contenders. He couldnt get passed any of the 3. Seems like another org could benefit from having Elias, but he has no place in the current landscape of 185 lbs in the UFC. That's the fair reasoning. The truth is he is boring and his style is trash and was never going to bring eyes to the sport. So they said fuck him. He can only blame himself

That's like when the BKFC President went into the ring and publicly tried to dock that guys pay.

Question 1) @TheOneAboveAll3 - Why do almost all MMA promoters seem like bad guys, or why do we see them in such a negative light? Which promoter would you consider to most have their fighters' best interests in mind?

Question 2) @europe1 - ONE FC overturned a kickboxing tournament match to a no contest, claiming the ref couldn’t keep the illegal clinching under control. Tournament favorite Petrosyan gets a rematch and another chance at winning the 1 million dollar tournament. Should promotors even have the ability to do this?

Question 3) @DanAndroid - Would it be plausible for the UFC to attempt a buyout of One or Bellator? Is it more likely the UFC would try to acquire some of these smaller orgs or would they find more success in cross promoting?
