: We are implementing a new feature called LIVE THREADS. To enable them, click on your status bar (Your username on top of the screen) and go down to "Join User Groups". If you join in on the "Live Threads" usergroup, you will automatically be a part of this.

What it means is that you will no longer have to refresh the thread when viewing it, as new posts will be added automatically.

Sherdog Main Page writers Ant Walker and Jason Burgos want to talk things over and answer your questions on a Live Video Chat series titled "The Trenches," airing WEDNESDAY at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT.

We also want your thoughts on a poll posted in this thread, with this week's poll question asking the following:

Does the mysterious "GSP clause" in Khabib's new contract, which is presumably some kind of "first dibs" stipulation, make it less likely that St. Pierre will ever come back?

Chime in on the conversation by voting in our poll or posting any fight questions you have.

Ant holds over 15 years of martial arts experience, training in multiple styles including Boxing, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Kung Fu and Krav Maga, and also coached amateur MMA fighters. A former Sherdog Radio Network personality and current contributor to Sherdog.com, this self-described "gym rat" seeks to impart his knowledge and discuss all things MMA with his fellow community members.

A journalist by trade, Jason has also co-hosted and produced multiple podcasts (including the "Fight Strength Podcast" with American Top Team trainer Phil Daru) over the years. He has contributed for several publications, and was a Senior Editor for MMASucka.com before landing at Sherdog. Along with his plethora of articles based on his exclusive interviews, Jason frequently covers live events for the site, chronicling the happenings with his growing photographic talents.

We'll be sure to get to this question. And not just because it's the only one we've gotten so far, but because it's a curious topic.

* What to do with a guy like Leonardo Santos? He is on a splendid win streak -- including decimating names like Kevin Lee and Tony Martin -- but he is also 39 and fights about as often as they release Transformers movies. Should the UFC match him up like the Top 15 fighter that he is -- or should they keep having him obliterate mid-level guys like he just did to Stevie Ray, because of his age and irregular fighting-schedule?

* Will the Orange One's trade-war with China affect the UFC's business in The Middle Kingdom?

* Will Yoel Romero really see all of that 27 million dollars? Will they truly cut the check?

Is Bellator Kickboxing dead? Four events in both 2016 and 2017, three last year, and halfway through this year no events and none announced.

Will tool really release their album August 30th? or should I just kill my life support machine?

I'm trying to find the info I read a couple weeks ago they're going to hold a combined KB/MMA event like they've done in the past a few times, I think in Italy and Sakara was rumored to be on the MMA portion of the card.

Edit: We have changed the poll question for simplicity's sake. Talking about contracts can get messy since we don't have the details. Instead, we're asking this:

Do you believe the claim that Khabib Nurmagomedov is the new highest paid fighter in the sport?

if GSP doesnt want to fight khabib when he comes back all he needs is an "anti-khabib" clause. im sure it wouldn't be hard to argue that gsp contract has precedence or superiority or whatever the lawyers will call it because his original UFC contractor was signed far earlier.

no source or anything. legal decisions have been getting more and more out there recently though.

Yeah we're going to wrestle this very topic. I feel like I should make an appearance on the broadcast to talk about law and contracts, but we'll see how it plays out.

No truth to the rumor that Cejudo's injured, he himself said he bumped it but was fine, did jumping jacks and danced around after the open workouts. He's done this before, sat on the stool instead of working out.

With McGregor being inactive, he's by far the most popular fighter worldwide and champ in the deepest division, so I don't see how it's a farfetched claim.

We are going live in FIVE minutes, do you have any more questions? If so, get them in now or post them in the YT chat during the show!

@Grapplefest
Mcgregor and khabib have been inactive the same amount of time. Lol. Jones is the most popular if you ignore mcgregor, don’t belong post Khabibs best non McGregor ppv

Yojimbo - On a scale of 1 to Buster Douglas, just how big of an upset was Ruiz beating Joshua?
