Tony was stripped for less (getting injured while doing promotional work for the company). Khabib left the US and now can't make it to the fight. Tony deserves the title shot in April. If Khabib can't make it, let's get someone else to fight Tony for it

Secondly, the United States is the worst place to be in the world right now there was NO chance the fight would happen and yet Tony stayed in the United States? For what reason?

Khabib went to Russia knowing that the U.S would shut down and to keep the fight alive

Why did the Fake Mexican stay in the United States, the hotbed of the world for COVID-19? DUCK.

Do you realise that if tony fought for a belt without Khabib he would be called a paper champ ? We're in the middle of a fucking health crisis, khabib goes home to the instruction of UFC and be with his family, and suddenly he's the one ducking ? Jeez, I knew some of you were dumb but that's reaching new levels.
 
Wow, this virus is really bringing out the lowest sector of the population.

Imagine being delusional enough to actually believe Dana that this fight was still happening in the first place. The guy doesn't even have a venue 2 weeks away from the fight during a global pandemic.

I really hope people aren't this retarded though, seems to be mainly McGregor nuthuggers looking for anything to blame Khabib.
 
If Tony got stripped for tripping on wires, Khabib should be stripped for his 3rd pull out against Tony

When someone tells you that he has a venue, that he will announce it in the week, then tells you that he knows but won't tell you because of stupid journalists who will throw a fit, then it should tell you one thing. Dana was bluffing all the way.
 
If what Khabib is saying is true, there is no way in hell UFC will strip him. If Khabib left without their knowledge (which I highly doubt they would with this being such a huge fight) then yeah they would be pissed. Far as I know Dana has known Khabib left the US for some time now has he not?

1)so he injured himself on purpose? I think that's a way better excuse than eating too much tiramisu
2) the US isn't shutdown. As long as they're in the same country, the fight had a chance. But Khabib left, simple facts

How does that make Khabib a paper champ ? Not going over that again, and Khabib beat Conor anyway, if that's what you imply.

As for truth, at least Khabib is a man of his words unlike Dana. You think Khabib would have deliberately left his camp, he and his team, to just go back to Russia, just like that ? Khabib left because he was instructed.

Khabib beat Conor fair and square. Conor should have been stripped a long time ago and Tony would be the real champ, not the interim champ. The reason that Dana was up in Conor's ass is the reason Tony isn't the champ now. Khabib shouldn't be the champ until he beats Tony, thus he is the paper champ.

And so speculation is your source? Who's dumb now?

Who's dumb ? Certainly not me.
Khabib came back to Russia 10 days ago, 10 DAYS. Dana only casually confirmed it the other day, if he was so unhappy about it, we would have heard about it.

You're the one being dumb if you believe Khabib just left his camp just because he wanted to, pissing thousands of dollars in the drain in the process, it probably fits your little bias.
My source is not speculation but I will take Khabib's words any time over anything Dana says.
I bet you wanted him to a Leon Edwards, jumping back into a plane not even knowing where to go just because UFC told him to do so ?

Khabib shouldnt be the champ until he beats Tony ? WTF is that ? Tony was never champ, interim belts are N°1 contender spot, deal with it. Conor was, got stripped but was still the lineal champ, Khabib has more legitimacy being champ by beating Cmac than beating Tony.
