How does Jon Jones vs prime Anderson Silva play out?

Jones fucking wrecks him, he would have to be careful about taking down Anderson though cause Andy has sneaky jiu jitsu. Even if Silva catches him in a triangle Jones is tough as nails and super hard to make tap (Vitor almost ripped his fucking arm off and Jones still didn't tap) so Anderson couldn't rely on his jiu jitsu, I also think Jones isn't dumb enough to fall victim to Silva's games so I honestly don't see Anderson winning in any scenario, even Silva in his prime. Jones also has a chin of granite and Silva is a weight class below him so I don't think Silva will knock him out either, no matter way I look at it I just don't see Silva winning unless Silva gets super lucky and catches Jones

Jones wins without much trouble. If Silva wanted that fight he could have had that fight. They are actually pretty close in walking around weight. Silva was around 220 and Jones around 230 before weight cutting, yet Silva never made any noise about wanting to fight Jones and earn that second belt and get perhaps his biggest payday ever.

Let's look at common opponents. Cormier beat Anderson Silva rather easily and Jones beat Cormier twice. Both beat Vitor. Silva had the quicker finish. Jones crushed Sonnen and Silva had big trouble with Sonnen both times even though he won those fights. In terms of matchups, Jones is a much bigger/longer better version of Sonnen i.e. wrestler/grappler who is less predictable and way better on the feet vs. Sonnen. Silva also liked to fool around i.e. be inactive in certain rounds. That would not work against Jones. You need to stay busy against Jones to win rounds. I see Silva not winning on the feet and not winning on the ground. Silva could possibly get a KO, but so could Jones. Jones has been in the cage with many heavy hitters over the years and got his arm raised every time except the Hamill DQ for 12-6 elbow strike. The conclusion is Jones.
