No doubt Trump is the least well spoken President in US history. Still, I'd rather have him calling the shots right now than an orator holding court talking about anti-Chinese bigotry in world history.

I wouldn't be surprised if this virus actually was proven to be of clinical origin.

Obviously, I'd wait for experts to confirm such a finding. I try my best not to waste mental energy assessing anything coming out of the president's mouth.

The CCP acted much more decisively to protect its people than we have, which is why they were able to drastically limit the spread of the virus, resulting in a fraction of as many deaths in China, a much larger, denser, and more vulnerable country, as in the US.

This conspiracy does nothing to justify the inaction by the US federal government, such as waiting multiple months, until the height of the pandemic, to dictate production of necessary medical equipment that was predicted to run short way back in January.
 
Trump will release that info the same day he releases Obama's birth certificate.

Could be, but from a narcissistic point of view he just doesn’t want to look like an idiot. How many times has this man pretended to have a very good source, he’s seen the evidence etc? Could be a lot of things really.

However, the region that binds ACE2 resembles a novel virus found in pangolins, a strange-looking animal sometimes called a scaly anteater. This provides additional evidence that the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 almost certainly originated in nature. If the new coronavirus had been manufactured in a lab, scientists most likely would have used the backbones of coronaviruses already known to cause serious diseases in humans.​

This is patently stupid. Was china supposed to stop all foreign travellers from leaving the country? Or just travel from within the infected areas.
