I don't have the skills to make this a real poll, but please give your input.

Is it age? Was it his rap career? Did he stop caring ? Perhaps he just needs a sports psychologist? Maybe his favorite supplement was discontinued / manufacturer went bankrupt ? Just some brutal matchups (3 elite, large grapplers in a row)? The new generation finally caught up to him? Some other reason?

Please only list your top answer, if a mod doesn't add a poll I will manually tabulate the responses and update the OP.

Above all, be honest in your answer and don't self censor.

Thanks

he's old and fought guys that are better
and in partiuclar, he fought guys that are better against the particular style that tyron has adopted in UFC

tyron should fight michael chiesa or robbie lawler rematch so we can see how much he has really declined

distractions
hearts not into fighting anymore
resting on his talents just to make money rather than getting better

Outside of the octogon shenanigans (i.e TMZ, rapping, acting, etc.)

He has 4 kids and some money. He's become an old softy.

Age. His gas tank is shit and he knows it. He’s scared to pull the trigger because he knows he will gas out.

Styles make fights. If Champ Woodley had fought Usman, Burns, or Colby back then it would’ve been the same result.

He just happened to fight a shopworn Lawler, Thompson who hates pressure fighting, and Maia who relies on takedowns for his game to work.

his right hand and shoulder is still hurt im guessing. he messed it up beforethe trill fight. re-messed it up when he dropped till and said thats why he changed to elbows. if i had to guess id say his main weapon is gone and he dont feel like leg kicking and wrestling.

I think it's a combination of age and his heart not being in it anymore. He also fought 3 guys who are all stylistically bad match ups for him.

My observed pattern turning point decline is age 37. Some seem to perform just as good maybe 1 to 3 years after 37 but show signs of slowing down and losing that chin.
