Boxing Discussion VIII

Fuck it, let's throw 1u on Jake Paul at -245. Easily my most degenerate bet ever.

Degenerate or not, that was genuinely some of the easiest money I've ever made, heh.

Considered adding another unit when Paul fell to -185, but that would have taken some courage given all the shenanigans and funny business around boxing in general and Jake Paul in particular. Paul was definitely huffing and puffing late in round 1. Luckily, Robinson was just as gassed.

£75 Saunders UD -137 to win £54.54

£75 Spence decision -115 to win £65.25

Bad betting day for me. I stupidly put money on some random dude on the Saunders-Murray undercard. He got KO’d in 1 round. Then I bet on Saunders-Murray to NOT go the distance... Saunders gave him a beating but couldn’t put him away. Tomorrow’s a new day.

I get the opposite of both

£250 AJ rds 1-6 +180 to win £450

£109 Fury decision -137 to win £79.57

*May reduce my action on AJ by 100 and add some to Fury

anthony joshua about to spark someone in a few mins, good way to pass time for ufc.

Man that was a fun fight. 4 knockdowns the fellar got sparked staring at ceiling.

The combo of uppercuts that hurt him so badly near the end there was terrific. Lands it flush, shifts to his right, throws it again, then again.

That dude had a hell of a chin, Joshua hits like a truck. I was surprised he got up after those uppercuts. That last straight right landed flush too that put him away. I actually think he **maybe** could have gotten up again, but was like "Nope, fuck this. That guy might kill me if I get up and let him hit me again."

Yeah I was surprised he didn't get ko'd in the 3rd after 2 knockdowns, guy is hella tough. All these post fight interviews kinda seem like joshua is avoiding fury. It's a shame cause I want to watch that.

I didn't even watch the interview, but that has to be the fight. I know Wilder gets a mandatory rematch or whatever but nothing he showed says he'll beat Fury. I guess he always has that huge power that gives him a puncher's chance.

Joshua is more slick, I think he gives Fury more problems than Wilder. That said, Fury might just be too damn good defensively for Joshua to solve.

Trust me, Joshua will fight Fury in a heart beat as long as he doesn't price himself out with a silly asking price. He is the only HW out there, actually trying to fight everyone.

This is the best HW fight in years. I actually love the +180 odds for AJ who I think is stylistically a very difficult fight for Fury
