Dana wants to do Amanda Nunes vs Jake Paul

That would be so funny the goat women’s fighter going life and death with some YouTube kid that probably beats her ass as he’s more technically sound.

so maybe jake is our savior and admonishments wmma from the ufc. And gets rid of that shit

Also, is anyone missing the narrative of the fight offer? It's a lose/lose for Jake, one he can't win even if he does win... like a mirror situation of Conor actually taking the fight with him.

Jake Paul's striking is so overrated based on the fact that he beat Nate Robinson... Not saying he would lose. But come on. He beat a dude who was focused on basketball his whole life.

135 Nunes GNP’ing a 6’1 190 pound guy who actually trains?
He trained boxing for like a year, probably less in wrestling and jitz. If you have limited bjj experience, the chances of being submitted in a fight against someone with as much experience as amanda nunes is high. Furthermore, although nunes is giving up a serious weight advantage her boxing is light years ahead of pauls so setting up a double leg would be childs play. Once the fight hits the ground, Nunes either maintains mount and finishes, or paul uses brute strength to reverse. In which case there is still a high probability that he gets submitted.

I always knew Dana “swayed both ways” if you catch my drift

Exactly. Literally all levels of women’s sports are paid from the male sports.

mid all was equal there would be no women’s sports at a collegiate level.

that’s just honesty. And facts.

Sure.

The direction I was taking, as someone who enjoys women's sports more than many do, is that I want women's sports to flourish, and comparing female athletes to men invites ridicule and puts unnecessary and stupid pressure on women. I think the UFC should have a separate women's P4P ranking system. At first, people might find it demeaning to the women, but actually, I think it could generate much more interesting and relevant discussion to compare the best females in each division to each other, rather than fantasizing about Shevchenko having better skills than this or that male fighter.

I tried to verify this and I can’t find where Dana said this. I think Nunes fell for some fake news.

I don't rate him but lets be realistic, he's 6'1, probably walks around at 200lbs, comes from a decent athletic background and has been training near full time with high level coaches for 3 years, in a boxing match he would knock her out easily.

This shit is really making me want to distance myself from the UFC.

If we need to join the Jake Paul circus then that’s a sign of the times.
