UFC 258: Usman vs Burns

I guess Barber will be going for a grappling heavy approach. Looks like her new gym is pretty wrestling centric. I think Clay Guida coaches there as well.

She mentions shes been training with Izzy Martinez since she was 15. I don't know much about Mike Valle (striking coach there) but I'm on the Barber train for this one. Sadly it looks like I'm getting her at +105.

Kinda weird seems like the gym caters mainly to high school wrestlers. Not done taping it but I like Barber as a small underdog. I want to say Grasso is pretty inactive off of her back, if Barber can land a few TD'S she should win rounds.
 
Grasso does well getting back to her feet in my opinion. She got ragdolled in the Suarez fight, but I feel like that's more the product of Suarez's skill level. Otherwise Grasso did well getting back up against Esparza. For Barber backers, can she exercise some level of control? When it gets back to the feet Barber is very hittable and I think Grasso is a much better striker than Aldrich.
 
Burns at 240 is a steal, Usmans only chance is to hold burns against the cage but when you are happy to pull guard Usan is either going to try to strike Burns or wrestler him down and fight him on the mat, This should be a fun one,

One thing I keep seeing is how Woodley was able to reverse Burns clinch several times. Usman completely dominated Woodley in the clinch.

When has Burns pulled guard in the UFC?

If I'm seeing Burns +240 appeal, I'm seeing it from the striking. Burns throws everything hard, and Usman drops his hands on resets. Staggering a step back and coming right in could get him some wide open shots.

But I also think Usman is just far too dominating to bet against
 
One of the only good fights on this card there. Bugger
 
Anyone got a good read of Pitolo vs Marquez? I'm slightly on Marquez he is coming off a long layoff but Pitolo has just not looked good in his UFC run, he got out pointed by Impa very easily last time out and just doesn't seem UFC level.

I bet Marquez. Pretty substantial bet for me too tbh.

Pitolo can crack and thats his only path to victory imo. Bad news is Marquez can absolutely eat bombs. Go watch the Phil Hawes fight it should be on Youtube. Hawes controlled him wirh some wrestling but never had Marquez in any kind of danger.
 
Usman via ko or decision at -200 is my way of playing him big while cutting some of the juice off. He's not subbing burns lol.

She did get hit a few times with straight punches and dropped with a jab in second. Yes that was also when he knee gave out but she has always had a weakness to straight punches.

Just watched it, Damn! That knockout was nasty he timed the head kick perfectly, thanks for the suggestion
 
I don’t bet but am considering it.

snoozeman via decision paired with Barber by whatever in a parlay? Does this seem safe?
