It's unbelievable how sloppy his defense is. He always leaves his chin completely exposed. Especially when he runs forward throwing 1-2's. That's why he just lost to Ngannou. No doubt he's very dangerous offensively, but defensively, he's a mess. Always has been. He only got that far because of his chin.

UFC fans should be rooting for Cain or JDS as the HW GOAT's. Yes, Stipe is more accomplished than both, but skillwise he really lowered the bar. And Ngannou will lower it even more if he surpasses Stipe.

And that ladies and gentlemen, is the greatest HW the UFC has ever seen. Ouch.

All past prime losses there. I'm afraid that's a fail.

The only time Fedor was rocked during his prime was against Fujita, but then again, getting caught once =/= having a constant flaw throughout your career (like Stipe).

Fedor took less damage in the stand-up than Stipe during his reign. In fact, Fedor took less damage in 10 years combined, than Stipe in his fight vs. Struve alone.

It took Fedor 15 years to finally get dropped by a strike. Think about how impressive that is.

On the other hand, this was Stipe's 10th fight:

Fedor > Stipe.

Fedor’s striking defense is far superior to Stipe’s. It’s not even up for debate. Fedor was hit far less throughout his career than Stipe was, this has always been a weak point of Stipe’s striking game.
