General MMA Discussion & Future Lines- 2020

Have 500 locked up on Chandler +125, and 150 on Diaz +325.

Diaz probably gets smoked but I'll be there live, and I need some action on that fight.
I'm with ya on Chandler. I don't see it for Diaz but hopefully it will make for a good live show.

I think Andrade has a better shot than the odds indicate.

Jennifer Maia was able to take down Valentina and control her(for a round, but it's fuckin' jennifer maia).

Andrade presents multiple threats to Valentina. She has great cardio, good takedowns, good TDD, power, and a good BJJ game.

Valentina is the clear favorite, but @ +310, gotta throw down a bit on Andrade.

I'm probably in the minority, most people I've seen are parlaying Usman/Valentina, but I think one of them loses.

Not sure if I should be chasing reads or plucking weeds. Either way looks like I'm stuck in one spot today. Maybe for now I'll just pop in ufc 4 and drop some dude to the floor.

Hmm looks like I'm having some banking issues at my place. Hoping that clears by 6, you know what they say right? Gotta love chicks.

Just saw these on Bovada, I usually don't bet on anything this far in the future. I don't know what the exact rules for this are, but I would assume even if they take the extra time, as long as they hit 126 it would be a win. They both made weight for their last fights, Maia made 125 for the title. Anyone ever bet on something like this, because those odds seem pretty juicy

edit: looks like the yes an no lines were opposite, they have since fixed them, disregard, no value. Unless you think they won't make weight.

Apparently there's a ONE card later today (Wednesday, April 21) that features John Lineker in the main event: https://www.sherdog.com/events/One-Championship-One-on-TNT-3-88272

I only see 2 betting lines available, and I took both underdogs without doing any research:

$5 on Troy Worthen +476
$5 on Reece McLaren +302
Worthen is rightfully a massive underdog.

Mclaren as a +300 underdog makes zero sense. Mclaren is an elite fighter, and that fight should be even odds. Will be playing Mclaren.

I'm not sure what to make about these fights being taped. Yoshiki Nakahara was an underdog last week. (Though oddly I couldn't find his line to bet on.)

Be careful, its pre taped

Not sure if its already played out or not

How long ago did they fight? Is it just a few hours difference, or 1+ day difference?

We can make some good money if it's a 1+ day tape delay, or if we just have enough time to search the Chinese websites for results while we can still bet on then in America.

There have been some pretty strange and heavy movement on some of these delayed cards.

I would put some on these dogs but Im scared of the heavy movement, not sure where you could find the results.

We should look in to it.

We should look in to it.
The main card is listed as being tape-delayed, and starts at 10pm EST. I live in California and I checked my cable provider and saw that the main card starts at 10pm PST.

BetAnySports/5dimes lists that the two available fights to bet on will start at 7pm PST/10pm EST.

The event is in Singapore, so I need to figure out if the east coast time is also a tape delay, or if it's just the west coast that's on a tape delay.

We have 2 different outcomes: the entire event is on a tape delay for America, or just the west coast time zone, and we can possibly find fight results before the lines lock. Or, the fights happen and the lines on BetAnySports/5dimes don't close in time, and we can bet the fights. (sportsbooks sometimes mess up when it comes to small overseas cards in MMA, baseball, etc.)

I'll keep looking into it.

^ Prelims are on the Bleacher Report app, and via the link above.

Main card starts at 7pm PST on the B/R app / 10pm EST on the B/R app. If you only want to watch it on the main TNT channel, it starts at 10pm EST, and there's a 3 hour tape delay for the west coast (starts at 10pm PST).

Light work for Lineker.

The big favorites on this "ONE on TNT 3" card were rightful favorites at steep odds.

I got 7/7 right for the Lineker pick in DK...the payout? $7

Fuck.
