UFC FIGHT NIGHT: REYES VS. PROCHAZKA Offical discussion

On which sites is he on to get this openers? No way I get them on bet365...
i think you just need to bet REAL early. I've seen very similar odds on sites that I use when he would post what he got. So I'm thinking he did his research real early and got the opening odds.

Stamann cuts a lot of weight to get to 135 and the pace for this one will be high.

Do you think it's more likely that Stamann gasses from the pace of defending the wrestling game of Merab or that Stamann makes more of an impact on the fight based on Merab's bad defensive striking habits?

No one has the bankroll nor spends the time that Sadistics did watching tape months before some events to ever be as good as him on here.

I mean he'd shop around and beat the fuck out of lines every time. Most of his plays he ended up getting around -150 to -180 and they'd inflate to close to -250 to -300 by the time of the fight.

And he'd have around 10k on the table per event, and made 6 figures on MMA betting in 2020 alone.

There are some good cappers on here that have had a few rough events, just need to know who to look for. But none are on Sadistics level.

Check out Reddit! That's where the best sports cappers in the world gather.
Sorry i'm a bit behind. What happened to Sadistics? He left?

depends where you live in the world. i use betonline for early lines. i think betway also posts lines very early, but their prices fucking suck.

Very green?
He went 25 minutes with the greatest 205 pounder of all time and won.

And so did Thiago Santos with 2 compromised legs. Jones hasn't looked good in more than 2 years. Jones made Anthony Smith look good. Going toe to toe with Bones isn't a meaningful as it used to be.

I still don't know what Reyes does well.

He picked apart OSP and knocked out a chinny, shot Chris Weidman. Cool. He won a bad decision against Volkan that he should have lost. The constant in all 3 of those fights is that nobody got in his face and made him uncomfortable.

What did Jan do? Jan got in his face and made him uncomfortable. And what I saw was a young guy who didn't know how to deal with that situation and he was absolutely murked as a result. And what will Jiri do? Jiri will get in his face and make him uncomfortable.

If I thought Reyes was a crisp counter-striker or good offensive wrestler who could capitalize on Jiri's aggressiveness I would probably bet him. But I don't see him possessing those skills. He doesn't have a ton of pro fights and he spent most of his life playing football. And when he fights I see someone who is a good athlete but doesn't have well-rounded skills.

My 2 cents.

Dudes the man said it himself.

If you want to discuss some fights he will do so. All you need to do is ask.

I will be going with Reys/Merab There are some bias for the main event.

Off topic but im playing cowboy ml with everything. I sincerily don't see diego winning.

I just wanna say I suck at betting so don't bet on any of my picks I make in these threads. I was big on Connely last week and called all 3 title fights to go the distance LOL what a dumb fuck i am.

With that being said I parlayed Merab and Dariush at +135

I was big on Strickland too but then I watched back some fights and Jotko is going to be the same height as him and is a southpaw both of which I think will take away the advantages Strickland usually has with his jab which looks like his best weapon standing and he uses it to set up his 2. He dosen't always bring his 2 back to his chin either which might have me concerned against Jotko the southpaw who could counter with a straight left and catch him. I'm gonna try to find a fight where Strickland fights a southpaw before I bet.

Luana Pinheiro -160

Sean Strickland -255 "Tarzan"
Andreas Michailidis -245 "The Spartan"

Maybe it'd be a good idea if instead of people here desperately trying to copy the best they tried to become it by putting the work in....

....no nevermind then the lines I get wouldn't be half as good, keep up the good work.

So cub swansons jiu jitsu coach died. Cornered all his fights. Feels like cub is going to wrestle. Money came in on him.

I like giga personally where his price is right now

I'm getting some weird Cheyenne Buys vibes about the Markos/Pinheiro fight. I think Pinheiro takes a fall here. This looks more like DWCS mush the more I look at it.

Is jacoby too precise and crisp for cutelaba? Seems like a good dog to me

Has he mentioned how he thinks the fight plays out?

I find the possibility of Stamann winning intriguing myself. I kind of think Merab won't be able to have his way as the wrestling should probably neutralize between the two, leaving Stamann the ability to strike at will. I'd feel a lot more comfortable about it if Cody actually had some power and finishes on his record, but for that reason I'm not totally sure..

"Stamann a better technical wrestler here and much better in the striking realm. Could make this a tough night for a somewhat sloppy but never relenting Merab. Think Merab's win over Kenney could shed some more light on how this fight may end up going."

It was just his brief take a week out. Personally I'm on merab after tape. Stamann fades and cutting to 135 isn't going to help that.

I'm big on Strickland, the only bet I made early I'm concerned about after watching tape is Gigi.

He has long periods of inactivity, so if Cub fights patiently and lands the bigger shots, he could easily win this.

I wish I could cash out of my parlays that include him, but oh well.

I kind of felt like Merab is balls to the wall sloppy when he doesn't have a reason to think his opponents can punish him as a result. I thought his fight against Dodson showed that level of restraint. I have to agree, I lean Merab after watching some tape too. I just don't have enough confidence on Stamann to be able to throw hands like he needs to in this one.

I'm not exactly sure how I lean on this fight just yet, but I think you are under-selling Reyes. I think the odds are pretty accurate on my early takes from refreshing myself with the two.

I know it's an old fight, a way different fighter - and his second fight of the night, too - but King Mo's KO on Jiri is still relevant, I think. Jiri has improved since then, no doubt, but he seems to be fundamentally the same guy.

Super aggressive, powerful, lots of movement, hands down. Volkan caught him a couple of times in the first round (and won the round) so I think the opportunity for a counter is absolutely there.

I think we'd all agree it ends inside the scorecards. Jiri really forces the kill/be killed style of fight. If Reyes was a bit bigger dog, I'd like the odds more. He may very well surprise here.
