General MMA Discussion & Future Lines- 2020

Managed to snag Gillespie for -149. Seems like a steal.

Hell yeah that is.

I just got him at -190. I was much more confident in his match against Riddell, but this is a good spot for him.

I don't see either of those three losing. Maybe Neal if it was 5 rounds.

Fuck, I was going to fly to Houston to attend the event, I've never seen Nate fight live.

Fucking bummer.
It's sad yeah. Apparently Diaz had minor injury so they moved it for that reason, it'll still be 5 rounds.

30 and 25 foot cage stats.View attachment 852370
It's an interesting look, but the number of fights doesn't help. Nearly 1200 more inside the bigger cage, numbers are not that different. Two or three cards in the smaller cage with less finish-friendly matchups could make them more seem more even.

That said, I think the smaller cage does lend itself to more finishes. A more tedious lengthy investigation could be trying to compare a number of cards with similar matchups.

Wonder what Nemkov / Rumble odds will be, -300 / 350 Nemkov sound about right?

Nah no way, Rumble didn't look that great. Any book that offers Nemkov -200 would get steamed hard.

Low limits anyways. probably gonna open at -200 and get bet down within 10 minutes. betonline doesn't put much care into opening lines they let the sharps settle it.

Jamalol Hill + Leon Edwards 1.64, gonna be my biggest bet of the year. Way higher than 60% that hits both of these fights are massive mismatches.

If it was Nate from five years ago I would bet him.I won't now but actually he has a slight path if he isn't a lot damaged early and Edwards gasses.

Ah gotcha. I don’t know how to read the decimal odds hahaha. I got him at +108 on fan duel.
