That's a nice giveaway to draw attention to the game sale. I didn't even realize it started three days ago because I never click on the "Store" tab in the app. It lasts until August 5th.

@Law Talkin’ Guy, this came up in another thread:
https://forums.sherdog.com/posts/165451603/

You were unaware there were sales like these including the full-DLC versions of games on Xbox. Not only do these sales exist on Xbox, and that this "Ultimate Game Sale" has become a regular seasonal thing with them, but IMO, it has usurped the "Steam Sale" as the greatest sale tradition in all of videogaming. It's everything that sale once used to be. Notice in the link above you can organize by biggest percentage discount.

Below are some examples. I got tired because it just kept going and going. In essence, the 100% DLC edition (or some enhanced version) of practically every single game on Game Pass is on sale at or near the best sale price we've ever seen from a major service.

The best sales in gaming to buttress the best service in gaming.

It should appear within the gamepass app as "Microsoft Flight Simulator"..

Give a quick look in the gamepass section of "my games and apps" as well.

Weird, I don’t see it in Gamepass at all for some reason. Maybe because I’m in Canada?

I picked up Knockout City (because I didn't win it from the EA Play event they just had :( ) for $12.99.

Don't sleep on Knockout City. Best fun I've had getting gorilla-stomped in a long, long time. :)

The Xbox expansion is on sale at newegg with code.

"If you're already running out of space on your Xbox Series X or Series S, the best storage solution is Seagate's officially licensed 1TB NVMe SSD. Sadly, the expansion card is pretty pricey at a retail price of $220, but right now you can get it for one of the lowest prices we've seen. Newegg has Seagate's storage expansion card on sale for $188 with promo code EMCEYSB59. You'll get free shipping with your order, too."

Don't know how long the sale lasts but it won't be forever.

Picked up Yakuza 0 @Wrath of Foamy for $13 bucks CDN. Also got Modern Warfare for my brother.

Got free 4000 Microsoft points for spending over $50 on the sale so got Gorogoa as well with my $5 gift card for redeeming my points. Sweet haul.

Just folded and opted to go with the series S. Gamestop credit was burning a hole in my pocket and only had to pay for the game pass bundle which I was going to get anyways. Kind of bummer that I won't get full 4k but I really only needed a game pass machine. Super stoked!

Is there an aftermarket controller that mimics the Dual Sense?

I have close to 20 accounts on my Xbox. I ended up receiving 4 codes altogether and just redeemed them all on my main. Now I have £28 Microsoft store credit. Not bad.

For Xbox? What would be the point?

The haptic feedback & adaptive trigger features have to be coded into the game itself. Until Microsoft makes their own controller, no developer is going to waste time building that into the Xbox version of the game for the multiplat games that do support it. PC games with these haptic feedback features only began rolling out (Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition was the first).

The list of games on PS5 that support it (some unreleased) is now up to 48 games. Microsoft is playing from behind in this space, but if they do introduce a new controller, at least if they do so sometime soon, they will have effectively skipped the building phase while only sacrificing a launch year in which many gamers couldn't even procure a new console, and for which both consoles had skinny "next-gen" libraries.

Ya, I know the PS5 Haptic's are console specific. I just don't want to use the Xbox controller. Looks clunky and large and I'm used to the PS controllers. But I agree, Xbox should hop on that. I think it's a pretty awesome feature outside of Multiplayer FPS games.

PS5 controller is actually bigger now. Crazy huh?
