The unnamed police officer was serving the public trust and literally defending the constitution from those who willfully and deliberately sought to thwart the mechanisms of democracy. People laughing at that are imbeciles, the action was almost successful and in fact delayed the process by several hours.

Babbitt was a criminal who knew what she was doing, she recorded a video right before leaving home to be a part of this where she said she didn't expect to come back alive. These people were asked to put their lives on the line by elected officials who absolutely should not continue to hold office and should probably be tried for insurrection.

Republicans are no longer American, they're something else entirely, something vile. I say this to be optimistic, because I believe the majority of Americans to be good people not driven by white supremacist ideals, but to be honest, there are too many who are white supremacist to give the country a pass.

They'll laugh at this notion and say that liberals throw that word around too often but if it wasn't so prevalent we wouldn't have to, and we're not wrong.
