Social Half of Florida hospitalized covid patients are 25-55 years old, 96% unvaccinated

Florida pop: 21,480,000

Hospitalized: 10,389

Average that out and see if the number is scary.

Florida - 39000 deaths, due to covid in a state with 22,000,000 people.

That's a .177% chance of death.

It's time to come out from under those mattresses.

That's 50% more deaths than all of Canada.

Average that out and see if the number is scary.

Even if that was the entire picture it would be scary.

How many ICU beds does Florida have?

Red areas have no beds left.

Is it a year ago?

How many times does it have to be explained that it's the ICU beds that are beyond capacity, and the rest of the hospitals is empty because they don't let people in when there's a contagious virus infecting people. Not even to visit dying relatives.

How many of them are obese?

How many of them are otherwise unhealthy / seriously ill with something else?

I don't know a single person under the age of 50, who has caught covid and been hit hard by it - for me personally, that's around 9-10 people now in total. Guess what? None of them are obese and all of them are in at least reasonably good shape in terms of fitness and general health. None of them had anything more than 2-3 days of aches and a strong cold.

Is 3 weeks to flatten the curve still a thing or is that to 2020?
Is 'hands face space' still a thing?
'Stay Home save lifes'?
Whats new on the block 17 months later?
Whats the new buzz words?

Of all the soccer players that had covid-19. Not a single one had any serious complications. Chance of complications for young healthy people is almost 0. Now that anyone who wants can get the vaccine its time to move on with life.

Unvaccinated morons getting covid and still screeching on forums about "fake news"

Natural selection at it's best

How many are overweight or obese? Being younger doesn't mean you're healthy
Considering overall obesity levels in the gen pop, the common denominator is not being vaccinated rather than being fat. When you've got stats like 100% of the deaths in Maryland being unvaccinated or 96% of the hospitalizations in Florida, it ain't hard to tell.

I would expect the obese to be over represented not at their proportion of the population. I'm not saying they don't matter but people make life choices they need to live with
That may or may not be true, but we have no way to quantify that right now, if ever. So it's pure speculation. What we can quantify is that 95-100% of hospitalizations/deaths in many states are among the non-vaccinated, a correlation so high that it's effectively causation. So it would be much smarter to focus on what we do know rather than speculation.

I've yet to run across anyone around here that has the Rona .

Half of fl having covid is greatly exaggerated .

Desantis bless
It's pretty embarrassing that you made this post in the first place and that so many fellow morons liked it. No one claimed that half of Florida has it, genius. Half of the hospitalizations are among people 25-55 and 96% of them haven't been vaccinated. Reading comprehension 101.

Your stupidity posing a risk to others health is what offends me

God forbid we continue like humans and act like humans and want to be near people.. god forbid that after 200,000 years we cant live a normal life again and have to completely change the way humans live...
God forbid we have went through multiple pandemics and wars and still survived.. god forbid death..

Also... how are they gathering the data with these constant claims of 96% of hospitalizations are unvaccinated?
Because it's extremely easy to gather that data. And to analyze the causal link between not being vaccinated and an elevated risk of hospitalization/death from the virus.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts but lived in Florida for close to ten years. Massachusetts is widely considered to be the smartest state. We have the highest vaccination rate in the country. And yeah, I was blown away at times by the stupidity I countered down there. It was fun for a while, but I'm glad I'm back in MA, especially with a crisis like this going on...

New Pfizer study put this to bed..

https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.07.28.21261159v1.full

During the blinded, controlled period, 15 BNT162b2 and 14 placebo recipients died; during the open-label period, 3 BNT162b2 and 2 original placebo recipients who received BNT162b2 after unblinding died.

Simple figures. 15 jabbed died during the 6 months test 14 unvaccinated died during the 6 months test.. What were you saying again?
