As far as validity and authenticity go, it doesn’t get more “real” than an ex ufc champ. Maybe a special forces soldier or something like that, but the point is that rappers are worshipped today for being gangster when all they’ve done is smoke weed their whole lives. Tyron has fought the best in the world.

As far as his music goes, his early work was… experimental. “In and out of love” didn’t sell out arenas as they’d hoped, but his newer stuff is a bit easier to listen to.

The songs not bad for today's standard...which is mumble rap/trap music garbage...

But hes no lyrical genius or anything...

Just status quo ..

His flow is about original as the video. How many times have we seem "pool party" rap videos
He needs a new producer...

It is not terrible, but he is never going to make money off of it or anything.

You're right, TS. That song you posted is not completely terrible.

I really don't listen to much newer hip hop, and T-Wood's sound is exactly what I don't enjoy. It's just shallow and vapid to me.

I'm tough, I get chicks, check out my car type of stuff. I get there is a market for that, but I can't judge him based on his peers in that category because I don't listen to any of them either.

Better than I expected. Catchy hook, but it does sound recycled out of a Bhad Bhabie song. Not bad, not great.

Mmm, no. Bland as fuck. Wouldn't listen for the gym, a car ride, or in the background while doing chores.

Haha that’s almost exactly how I just described it as I listened to it. Sounds typical mainstream, even better than most mainstream stuff. Still shit but that’s rap anyway

The bar has been lowered so much in this genre that pretty much any garbage can make it big potentially. This song sounds just like anything else you’d hear on the radio. It’s awful
