Hendricks, Nick, and Carlos never got second fights.
I’m no GSP fan boy and I think Hendricks beat him but I do realize how good he was
 
It's a myth that Anderson Silva was calling him out. Prove it.

Maybe Matt Serra too, but we saw how the rematch turned out.

There's only one answer to this question. And it is, he had 2 real rivals over the course of his career. One at the beginning, the other at the end. Ala Hughes and Big Rig. That's it.

There may have been guys who fought him that considered him to be their number one rival, but to him, they were just the guy in front of him. Sorry to the fanboys of the aforementioned, GSP may have been your favorite fighters biggest rival...but they simply were not his.

I'd say Kos. Out of all the people he seemed to truly piss GSP off the most.
 
Serra? I know he was never elite and it was a fluke, but he still fucked him up like no one else.

Well you answered your own post in the first line, Matt Hughes.

I was a big fan of Matt the fighter, at one time he was one of the first to round out his wrestling game to a high level. Pre K1 Hughes was wrecking people. As a man, douche.
