Who hits harder Fury or Ngannou?

Fury batters people with volume. I feel like a lot of you just jumped on the hype train. He isn't known as a power puncher. He goes to decision quite often. I don't even believe he has many first round stoppages.
Wilder is a power puncher. Out of 40 something fights that he won; he only went the distance once. Multiple first round stoppages.
Francis is a power puncher. Look at the way he throws. He throws and is off balanced. Fury doesn't fight like that although there is that clip of him hitting himself.

This dude in jail yet? Last a seen, he was having to attend court for something, I was always assuming it was because of assault.

Tyson Fury is the better volume puncher. He's taller, heavier, and has a longer reach than Ngannou.

Ngannou might have a stronger, single punch that's only 1%-5% more powerful.

"Hall recorded several seriously impressive scores, with his highest of 113,999 being just 13 per cent less than Ngannou’s record."

A non-boxer was only 13% off Ngannou's power.

Ngannou's power gets reduced with boxing gloves.

Conor's punches looked like nothing special when he boxed Floyd Mayweather.

Mike Perry was only about 8% off Ngannou's power, so it makes sense that Fury would get closer to maybe 1% to 5%.

I would say Ngannou

Fury because he knows how to use it against elite boxers, Ngannous donkey kong technique would see himself face down on the canvas by round 3, it looks scary in mma where fighters dont throw combinations or have foot work, in boxing it would be hilarious

A more interesting question is who hits harder between Wilder and Ngannou. And I think it’s Ngannou.......
Not even close between Wilder and Ngannou. Wilder is a caveman, but he knocks guys retarded with one shot late into fights, even exhausted, and he does it with 12-ounce gloves.

Even with 4 ounce gloves, Francis has never finished anyone beyond the second round.

Wilder, by far, is the more dangerous puncher.

Francis by a mile.

Fury only has 22 knocks out while Francis had a staggering 12 tko/ko wins with smaller gloves.
If Francis had bigger gloves he would find Chins more too lol

I swear, MMA fans are the stupidest people on earth. Smaller gloves = more power. Heavier gloves means less power.

Conor McGregor is the perfect example of what 12 ounce gloves do to your power.

What do you think 12 ounce gloves are filled with? Concrete?

Volkov isn't a better leg kicker than Ngannou, and Hardy > Fury as an athlete

Fury only looks good at boxing because he's 40+lbs heavier than everyone he fights

Bullshit. Fury literally weighed one pound more than Wladimir Klitschko when they fought. And Klit is one of the greatest heavyweights in the sport’s history.

Francis has no one even close to Klitschko on his record.

You guys really need to STFU.

Francis probably wins in a hard punch contest.

Of course, that isn't all that meaningful. There are lots of guys on earth that can punch harder than the champ most of the time because champs are usually guys like Ali or Fury, who just have too much skill and savvy for it to matter.

It doesn't do much to hit a guy hard if you can't hit him.

Stipe is easily better than no chin Wlad
Your mother should have swallowed you.

Neither Klitschko nor Fury are even top 10 HWs in boxing history, or top 50 p4p

Fury isn’t, but Wlad is arguably top 10, and certainly top 15. If we’re going off who we think wins in mythical matchups, he is undoubtedly top 10.

And don’t bother arguing. You couldn’t even name the top 10 heavyweights in the world today, let alone all time. And don’t bother coming in here with a list you found on boxrec.

Stipe is a top 2 HW in MMA history and top 10-15 all-time

Again, you couldn’t even name 10 of Stipe’s opponents without fight finder, so don’t waste my time telling me how great you think he is.

Ngannou most likely.

I think that is not exactly proof of someone hitting harder, its just that technique and other stuff play a role in an actual boxing fight, Wilder probably hits harder than Fury, he lost to Fury 3 times, 2 by stoppage and a robbery BS draw, hitting a machine Ngannou hits harder than Fury or Wilder probably, that changes if he ever goes into a fight with either, Conor probably hits harder than Floyd, who has never been a power puncher in boxing, but it didnt help him in the fight either.
Power punching is different in boxing and Conor wouldn't be considered a power puncher in boxing terms. Floyd may not be considered a power puncher by boxing terms, but his punches are solid and he seemed to be the harder puncher vs Conor in their fight.

Dumb thread. Fury isn’t a power puncher, and has never been known as a power puncher. Aside from the fact that we’re talking about different sports, and different gloves sizes.
He wasn't a power puncher before, he switched things up training with Kronk Boxing. He's a power puncher now. His last 2 fights vs Wilder were power punch heavy that's why he was able to KO Wilder. You don't do that not being a power puncher. The KO shots were all power shots.

fury literally weighs 40 pounds more than ngannou and has trained boxing his whole life.
in shape Fury doesn't weigh more than Ngannou. Anyway Wilder weighs a lot less than either of them and hits a lot harder than they do, Fury is a skilled boxer but doesn't hit that hard for a HW.

McGregor is the hardest p4p hitter in the UFC. Look at his hands, those are heavyweight hands

The universe was merciful capping McGregor at 170 pounds

Fury hits harder only because of his size

Both are huge fighters, they hit plenty hard to KO their opponents. Fury a more clever boxer, used his reach to off balance opponents so they can not plant as well and reduce impact of opponents shots. Fury paces himself well to frustrating opponents while they tire trying to get inside. Francis vs Fury likely same as Wilder. Francis has power advantage early but if can not finish Fury , he will fade and Fury wins latter rounds .

I think the answer is Wilder

Fury hits harder than any MMA fighter ever. By far. Conor had legendary power in MMA and looked like the most pillow-fisted fighter of all time in boxing.

If they ever fought in MMA, it would look like Mercer vs Sylvia.
Conor does not have legendary power lmao
